People said take a nap after lunch is good
yet we don't recommend to sleep after lunch as it is not good for digestion.
So, which one is true?
And if afternoon nap is good, when should we take the nap?

People said take a nap after lunch is good
yet we don't recommend to sleep after lunch as it is not good for digestion. So, which one is true? And if afternoon nap is good, when should we take the nap? |

If you have 8+ hours of sleep every night, there is no reason why you should have a nap during the day.

Don't lie down and sleep as it will disrupt your digestion.
Just sleep upright as in sleeping on a chair, then that should be alright. Or at least your chest and head should be higher than your stomach. |

I believe it's one of the main secret of longevity, detoxification of the body and retain your mental sharpness and focus. One of the key findings is it lowers cotrisol level to restore your level of mental sharpness and concentration. For me I usually take 30 mins rest after a simple lunch. It's simply to recharge my brain and body. This is also useful as it allows our body to recharge and heal, and we will age better and look better for our age.
