Received my Lazada wallet 10% for PGC purchased on 27th September (RM180 for RM200 worth). So total spend is RM162 from my wallet (which cost me RM136.08 since was reloaded using CIMB Lazada Prepaid). Very nice.

Multiple ways it can be worth it.

1. CIMB Lazada Prepaid (16% cashback) or similar credit/prepaid card which gives cashback.
2. Using wallet credit, which could have been obtained using promo (reload X and get a percentage more etc.)
3. Lazada own promo (e.g. 10%/5% cashback to wallet when purchasing item, or even specifically PGC)
4. Shopback promo (most recent one) for purchase of PGC, so additional 10% on top of existing cashback.

Any amount is 'worth it', and any amount higher than the 2-5% which most can easily get using various credit cards for petrol reload is confirm worth it. Doesn't need to be those crazy "I paid RM68.35 for RM100 worth of petrol" to be worth it.

Only for new accounts I think.

Long time ago people just bought tons of Milo and sold at same price to sundry shops. I've never done that myself though.

If for me, I would buy my own necessities from Lazada's tesco (milk powder, laundry detergent etc.) but depending on your household may be difficult to fill RM500. In that case buy multiple smaller Lazada gift vouchers and use as you go.

Most people just hold it for one-shot discount on larger item (mostly phone or TV) though.

I topped up multiple times, from different CC for the different benefits. Rebate is instant on topping up.

Go ahead and do this. The more people do this the faster Lazada will stop accepting easy returns, or raise prices to compensate, or just close shop.

Sometimes yes. I just bought seagate external HDD was cheaper on Laz though. Like 15% cheaper.

Return and repurchase?

RM150 voucher is seller voucher? Then you actually still got it for cheaper.... and you're complaining?

How are you 'not sure' where the voucher is from? How did you get it?

Anyway if even with voucher it's more expensive, then just return the phone when you get it and repurchase. Benefit of Lazada is that return is hassle free for some items (Wow phone included I think).

Lazada refund much less hassle than Shopee in my experience. Shopee, once you've gotten the item, even if you're not happy with it for some reason or other need to nego nego with seller, if seller don't accept your reasoning shopee don't like making decision. Favour seller slightly.

Of course if the item doesn't get here then shopee easier, but once item reach then shopee consider 'case closed'.

BNM doesn't agree though.... and they need to enforce their rules (not just on Laz, also GrabPay etc).

Not technically hard to clawback cashback if customer withdraw (think normal banks with clawback for interest paid on FDs from principle). The money is not theirs, not for them to decide not to allow.
