normally how much difference only worth us to withdraw from oversea ATM than going to mid valley to exchange?

e.g.: I exchanged SGD150 for 3 days usage, which only cost me like RM453

since u plan for small amount of spending, it is better change at money changer before u depart to oversea.
for me, if i need more than RM3K value currency, i will plan to make ATM withdrawal at oversea.

ok understood, thx for the info, but spending with bigpay card at certain oversea merchant is great (when u dowan the coins) biggrin.gif

fairylord you might need to add PBB Visa Infinite 0.3% unlimited in the first page.

hi tan_aniki,

0.3% unlimited means?

lets say RM1000 = 30, RM3000 = RM90 Cashback?

Just checked with credit card online customer service

If reload BigPay via below cards

1. UOB One Card - 0.2% CB (CB category = other purchase)
2. HSBC Amanah - 0.2% CB (CB category = retail purchase)

I think i need to apply Public Quantum (5%) / Visa Signature (6%)...

lesson learnt from my previous trip to Las Vegas:
1. after i took LYFT taxi(additional charges incurred USD1.09), requested customer service to check this transaction and they mentioned no problem, if want to check need to call LYFT(in LYFT apps no such transaction)...forget it...CS always lame...)

2. BP is a card that good to have but don't keep high balance inside, might as well use credit card if the amount too high.

3. BP is a card that help me to away from getting small change/coins at oversea (because money exchange does not accept small change/coins).

going to Singapore next 3 days
WTA can below transits use BigPay card to wave:
1. MRT
2. Causeway Link CW1/CW2
3. SBS Transit 170

Check #1 post but the information is limited:
Q22 : How the charges using BP as Ezlink for public transport in Singapore - SimplyGo?
A21 : Fare charges will be accumulated for up to 5 days or after a total of $15 is spent on transit fares, whichever is earlier + $0.50 admin fees.

Is it true that PB Unionpay Debitcard can be used in China like alipay and wechatpay by merchant scanning the Unionpay Qr code?
Since BP is not a good card to be used in China, am thinking of alternative.

last month i had nightmare in china...

brought 0 cash and bigpay there, only airport can use sleep.gif

IMO, unionpay card can use but only big restaurants.... best combination = minor cash + unionpay cc + alipay reloaded or u can reload via unionpay when u need it there
