I like the whole idea of the card, unfortunately, some serious issue comes with it.

THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND ONLY GIVE IT BACK TO YOU MONTHS LATER.


In my case, I got charged twice from Bigpay and they promise to refund in 7 days. After 7 days, they asked me to fill a form and the refund now is in 60 days.

What a reliable trustworthy institution.

I did contact both merchant(airasia) and BigPay. It was still in pending mode and BigPay should have block the transaction right away. They promised to return the money within 7 days. 7 days? That’s too slow in this edge. Everything can be done in minutes if you want to. Anyway, I waited 7 days and on the day, I checked the app and both transaction settled. I contacted them again and now they said I have to fill in the dispute form and then only will return the money within 60 days. Why 60 days? Are they using pigeon to send out documents?

Online transaction. Buying a ticket from AirAsia and it failed the first time, I click the button again still get an error.
For some reason, a few minutes later, both transaction is successful in the app. Still an error on AirAsia website.

Today they returned the money after constantly complaining through email. (They stop replying after few emails)
I like the card. My trip to Sydney was totally cashless. I carried no cash at all.
But when something goes wrong, it is really wrong since its a debit card. You imagine if my double charge was close to 10k. 60 days is a ridiculous waiting time.
Everything can be done less than in day if you want to do it that way. Are they sending the form using a pigeon? or TMNet?

I think I've had enough with BigPay. I had double payment issue before and took weeks for me to get the money back.

Today I bought concert tickets, all payments are made and somehow I don't get any confirmation from the merchant. Merchant said payment is not successful but BigPay already deducted my money. Contacted the chat support right away and support insist that the payment is made. I spend whole day trying to fix this.

Merchant said no payment from BigPay and Bigpay said payment already made.

All I wanna do is to cancel the transaction so I can just buy another ticket, but BigPay said it's not possible. So who's getting my money now?

The exchange rate is somewhat good but I don't think they are that reliable to handle your money. Just be careful when you place your money there. They can just take it and said nothing is their fault.

Once I get my refund, I'll cancel this stupid card.

But I do think banks have a better customer service. It has been horrible for me. I've been connected to at least 6 supports and none can give me a definitive answer. There's also no way for me to call them. I've emailed them too and no reply.

Being a debit card, they need to act quickly.

I never have issue with credit card before for as long as I can remember. Already had couple of issues with BigPay in just few months gap.

When it's good, it's good but it can be real shit when it is not working.

The thing is, merchant said no payment made and BigPay said payment is successful. 7 days is not gonna work for me just to get conformation. All I need is to cancel it, or BigPay can confirm they can refund back the money so I can confidently buy back the tickets. It's for a concert, so time is the essence.

If 1-2RM that's would be ok. I'm in the thousands here. And it's a debit card.

Bet you would have abused those customer service agent over phone. 

If u disagree then proceed for dispute of the transaction if the next best option u have.

Maybank did refund me in matter of hours. Technically it's not refund, but the transaction is cancelled. All I need is someone to confirm that it can be cancelled.

The case with BigPay, the support has no answer. Until 6pm then only I managed to ask for manager via the chat support. BigPay need hotline, not just chat support.

I did with normal CC.

I've been using BigPay extensively abroad and like it. Plus it has a nice color. But they just lost one customer today.

I don't think I'll abused it if they have the hotline. Or maybe they need a competent support. Like I said, it took 12 hours so that someone can call me. Plus, every time the chat support get disconnected I have to tell the whole story all over again and again, and again. Such a stupid method. Nobody seems to read the history or they just don't even have it.

They claimed to be better than a bank so compare them with a bank I will.

I don't use other e-wallets.

sad to hear about your case but I second this, it's really a very bad support method, loss connection, when minimizing the app or returning to view other things on the app will trigger this problem.
I remember my case telling the same story 5-6 times just to ask a very simple question due to the reason above.
something has to be done to the chat support like maybe a pop up chat or able to minimize to a window (like google maps) while allowing us to browse the app or use the phone instead of waiting inside the chat, imagine you are in queue of >5 people.

I understand the money is not really burnt at the same exact moment but there's nobody competent I can reach to.
