Got panic just now tried to withdraw from Public Bank ATM, card was stuck inside for about 5 min with the message "processing xxx". Eventually card ejected, withdrawal failed. Dare not to try second attempt here

Yes you can request them to void the previously payment. But that of course depends on whether they are helpful or not or whether they know how to operate the credit card terminal.

It happened to me in Seoul, South Korea back in April this year at one of Hyundai Department Store restaurants. The ahjumma didn’t understand what I wanted. But the BigPay app really came in handy as we can see the transaction right away pending settlement. And I noticed I was charged in MYR despite I had requested to be charged in KRW. Went back to the restaurant. The ahjumma still didn’t understand what I was saying. Luckily a younger man cave over and he knew what I was talking about. He canceled the previous transaction and charged my card once again and selected KRW as the settlement currency.

Someone shared yesterday that Mid Valley HLB can withdraw 4k. Today I went to try, all 3 ATM failed to withdraw even 3k. So far, I've 0% success rate at HLB ATM even for 3k, I guess they always run out of RM 100?

I have 100% success from known Maybank ATM which dispense 3k. Maybe despite more ppl withdrawing from Maybank, they have more ATM to cater for the demand and also more frequent top up, while HLB have so few ATM so most of the time run out of notes. Just guessing only

say item A has promo price on 10th Feb, and B user only wants to top up on 10th Feb to get that item A at promo price.

But alas when wanna topup BP has downtime, what should he do then to secure the promo price ?
