Does anyone know if BigPay bans users who perform DUITNOW transfers to their own bank accounts? Thank you
*
my reason for using bigpay is to transfer out all my $$ from transferwise.

I emptied out bigpay to myself (via duitnow) twice. Been using it as ewallet after that with no issue. However, since bigpay is announcing changes to their credit card topup, I've just emptied it out for the 3rd time. Siap uninstall app altogether. Don't want to worry if TNC suddenly change to bar self-duitnow

Never never never use credit card to pay Wise for card issuance and reload. It is a CASH ADVANCE transaction, i.e. you need to pay 5% (with minimum charge) fee and CC interest to your credit card issuer.

are you able to do it in the first place?

just hoping that any changes (aka restore back inactivity RM2.50 fee) will come with email announcement so we have time to make the necessary steps. meanwhile, will use it to keep on checking if remittance fee drops

bigpay better rates than wise (at least for MYRSGD). however bigpay rates no longer the cheapest in town
and bigpay can pay to personal DuitNow QR code, tng can't

MGM if you are able to transfer from kiplepay into BigPay, you are good to go (and Duitnow back to CASA). TnG ewallet blocks all topups into BigPay for example

i've been trying to move all the RHB MCA discussions from Wise thread to here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4529776 . now i know where all the discussion went

Most local wallets are not serious about business. Perhaps they're after something else, like the Digital Bank license.

if it's RM200 (per trx), then this make sense. unlike instarem/Wise that are mainly remittance

makes sense that they don't want your remittance business... RM200 is a very minor amount

How reliable is BigPay card? Any problems when transacting with this card?

avoid. you'll have surcharge for MYR cross-border transaction. e.g., your Malaysian Netflix (based in SG) even though there's no way to select any currency other than MYR
