QUOTE(Tigerr @ Sep 7 2018, 10:13 AM) U didnt get my meaning. Swiping grocery using MBB visa signature direct get 5% cb n Amex too during weekend plus MUVI getting 5x TP. Using BP is a bit waste. OIC, coz my Amex got other recurring to take care the CB, if near month end still got quota, BP will come in handy to fullfill the remain Amex CB quota. Its still doesnt defeat the purpose to enjoy the CB using BP. If you get what im mean |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Sep 7 2018, 10:39 AM) Of course. But u may missed to max out the best cb that is available if not careful. MBB visa signature can let u swipe up to maximum 1760 for the 88 cb only on petrol & grocery. So unless u every month can max this out, then, u can freely use the BP but BP also got its limitation to max 10k only. Last month. I already max out most of my card n end up using my UOB one card for that meagre 0.2% cb. I should be using MUVI but that day not MU matchday plus i need to top up my MBB account because i also max out the credit limit due to the generous BT. So in this case, u still need to think n select wisely what are the best card to swipe at tge counter.... true true, i missed my MBB VS. Will reapply after Aug 2019, not sure if the colling period reduced to 6 months like most others |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 27 2018, 01:40 PM) Perhaps I'm reading things differently here, but Jonathan's example did not state "reloading using another person's CC = suspicious". Q4 of post 1 suggests that BP does not impose such a limitation (and this makes sense, for the reasons below). i see, thats the story all about. There are many legitimate reasons why you would use another person's CC or bank account to reload a prepaid card. High income earners loading for dependents (children, housewives, retired parents) so that these people can enjoy the benefit and convenience of a card, when they may not be able to apply for their own CC. With family relationships, it is quite normal for people to pay on behalf and settle separately (or FOC). Again, people using the card "normally" and with plausible explanations for transactions should have nothing to fear. yup, maybe limit to one or 2 non card holder cc for reload. sometime i used my spouse cc for reload. |

QUOTE(tifosi @ Sep 27 2018, 09:38 PM) I gave my view about this many many pages back that we should use in moderation and don’t abuse the system else in the end benefits will be taken away but got shot down by comments along the line of if you don’t take advantage then you’re stupid, why not if it’s a product feature so I can use all I want to max it. I gave up and malas nak layan. agree, some people dont know how to appreciate good thing. same like the free entry PPL, abused like no tomorrow, now most banks retract back the features. Besides PPL lower their F&B standard to accommodate the crazy crowds in order to control their cost. I saw one aunty at PPL counter, taking out a name card holder booklet, inside like got 40 or 50 cards, telling the reception try this one try that one, why? because she bringing 7 quests along. WTH. |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Sep 28 2018, 09:15 AM) lol, rich and smart but calculativeQUOTE(Braxton @ Sep 28 2018, 09:32 AM) I have email Bigpay about paywave. thanks for your kind sharing. RFID contactless still having security issue and risk of clone. worth a thought. Below their reply Since we announced our contactless cards there has been a tremendous increase in interest and requests! We want to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy contactless payments and we aim to have everyone on board by the end of the year. End September we will begin a referral program for those of you who want to get your hands on contactless cards as early as possible. More details soon. Thank you for patience and keep an eye out for more new features we'll be launching. QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Sep 28 2018, 09:37 AM) And the solution is to convince a handful of users in one forum to reduce their usage of whatever benefits.... because that will make a difference to service providers who have tens of thousands of customers right? lol, not easy to change others. aint saint. no more mr nice 'Abuse' is subjective unless defined in a written T&C, and if you're trying to impose your own standard of right behaviour on others, good luck with that. |

QUOTE(BigPayJonathan @ Sep 28 2018, 11:35 AM) That's a really cool suggestion! Just copied and pasted it to our internal communication channel Hi, thanks for replying, im refering to this as my a samsung pay user, their interface quite friendly for us to select which card to make payment from screen.True, and that's true for any card. The good thing about BigPay is the ability to instantly freeze it. Both Visa & Mastercard are pushing for every country to adopt Chip & PIN as it significantly reduces the amount of frauds. It's a global issue that's being fought on the ground by global companies, and on BigPay's technical side to provide better security. That's one of the reasons why we don't allow Android users to record their screen. As annoying as it is, we believe it's a mistake that other banks in Malaysia allow it. We offer the same protection & guarantees as any financial institution! If anything suspicious happen, you should always report it directly to us and as soon as possible. Preferably via phone call to our support team, as we'll need to verify your identity and create a dispute, but don't hesitate to spam all our channels with details so our team can get in touch ASAP. Block your card immediately, or ask us to block it if you can't. We'll open up an investigation, as we're legally bound to do by BNM regulations. When the investigation shows that your card has been used for unauthorised transactions, the funds will be covered. |
