Hi would like to ask regarding the topup limit for big pay via credit card. Does the limit of 2500 count by calendar month. So meaning if i reach my limit of 2500 i have to wait for 30 days before next top up or i can top up another 2500 on the 1st of next month again ?

We are changing our fair usage policy for top-ups using credit cards. From October 8th, we will be reducing the monthly limit for credit card top-ups to RM 1,000.

Topping up via debit cards and online banking will remain unlimited and we encourage you to continue using these sources. We’re also working to introduce new top-up methods in the coming weeks so you can have more choice when topping up your BigPay.

At BigPay, we’re committed to offering you fair financial services. We do this by keeping our costs low and passing the savings onto you. However, credit card companies charge us fees - that we absorb - so that our customers can have more options for top-ups.

We will continue to do this to make it fair for all our customers to use our basic products and services at low / no fees.

Good to kill time only, RM10k/year is not a lot of money, if you are still young, spend more time in your career, you will earn more in long term.

But only allows top up by FPX/bank transfer, debit cards (excluding BigPay - used to accept) and not Credit Cards. I think?

I really don't get it why would someone reload from debit card into BigPay and use BigPay card instead of debit card issued by bank?

If so then use ocbc prank savings account debit card much better
At least got interest for balance
And no bank mark up for forex
