as a company that deals with money.
at least a 24 hrs CS Team should be there.

Come on! it won't cost you a lot extra, but it gives a peace of mind to your customers when emergency do occur.

maybe the extreme workload?
personal experience, i called BP for >20 mins.
nobody answer the phone during office hous..

imagine shift 24 hrs.
but still, operate 24 hrs instead of telling your cust to call bank during office hours give us peace of mind

apps force close in TOP UP page.

solution: Clear all data for BigPay apps. Login again. It should work fine.


Yet another Totally unacceptable practice from BigPay,
you automatically update your apps and email us to brag about it.

End out you can't even detect such annoying and OBVIoUS bug in your so called 'updated' apps.
there is no prob before update.

BP seemed like getting the priority wrong...

wonder whoever here appreciate the so called split bill features among friends and locate friends nearby features so you can split bill more easily that they seemed very excited about??

the priority is STABILITY and RELIABILITY.
why there are numerous complaints on Shopee or other merchant transaction failure from time to time?
obviously Shopee did not block you as you claim others competitor do.
get the basics done first before going further doing any other extras.

if BigPay were to suspend any account due to cash withdrawal, which is a card features, they better be prepared to answer to bnm on the reason behind this with solid proof or else you won't see them operating again..

worst case that even they choose to suspend your card, they are bound to pay you whatever balance in your card maybe through a cheque.

in which clause of the T&C did specifically state that "cash withdrawal is for overseas and not within Malaysia"?
if you couldn't find it, please don't assume thing.
in fact if you wrongly assume things and causing confusion, BP have every rights to take action.

they are free to do tat, of charging service charge.
in fact all service provider out there can implement anything, the cust buys it or not is another story.
for eg paypal did charge a service fees for any amount reloaded into them.

but if they choose to charge nothing on reload and RM6 on every withdrawal, they are bound to offer it unless there is a change in T&C which would require to inform cust in advance.

however wat is ur position to speak on their behalf?

Becareful of BigPay!!

They DID NOT care about your account security at all.
On 1/8/19 i realised some unauthorized transaction.
I chat to them asking whether i need to replace a new card, they just replied in a chill manner no need for a replacement card, just fill in the dispute form.

If the same happens for any bank, for sure they will cancel the card immediately and issue a new card..

And guess what, another 2 unauthorized transactions happened again yesterday, amounting RM1500 each!!

Lucky i don't have much balance in the card.
Imagine if you have balance in the card.

Transaction declined due to insufficient funds in card.
Luckily i keep BigPay balance at a minimal.

Anyway had reported lost card and request for a new card.

Just be careful on BigPay ..
..their ways of handling suspicious unauthorized transaction is very insensitive compared to any bank..
Perhaps due to they are prepaid card issuer.

It will be a huge hassle as BigPay is a prepaid card.

Once the money is gone, you need to wait for weeks after they finalize ther investigation before the money could be refunded back to you.

While for credit card, you don't need to pay anything during the dispute period by bank.

Luckily during the 3 scam transaction.
My account balance is kept at a very minimal level.

Else my balance would be gone!!!

Let's say reload to BP above 3k. Entitled to get cash back of 5% for petrol and grocery? Or BP didn't counted? Find on 1st page didn't state

Apart from the FX rate overseas transaction and CC reload rebate,
I really don't get it why would someone reload from debit card into BigPay and use BigPay card instead of debit card issued by bank?

actually i still don't get the whole idea..

the big pay idea may sound very appealing and futuristic..

but bigpay is simply a physical prepaid mastercard and nowhere near an ewallet.

from a user pov, using bigpay does not make much sense..

since all bank issue debit card now and can be used directly..

perhaps there are certain group of people paranoid to use debit card directly as it link to their bank acc directly, hence reload debit card into bigpay and use bigpay instead of bank debit card (since there is a limit of reload into bigpay as if limit the damage).

not to mention those ewallet with all sorts of promo to entice ppl to use them.

if we refer overseas case scenario, when moving towards cashless society, ewallet will be the upcoming trend, but not a prepaid physical mastercard which does nothing except giving some bigpoint which you can't use anytime soon due to the pandemic.

we can started to see tng & some ewallet moving towards that direction with offline pin reload in various location where cash -> ewallet credit.

but still not indication bigpay is going to do it..

so basically all their user is banked ppl which serve no purpose for local trx unless for overseas trx with a good FX rate..

just sharing my experience & solution.

noted recently unable to reload bigpay at all.

after checking with CS only realized this is due to my preferred name is below 3 character, so just change it to 3 character and above and everything works as usual.
