WHICH ipod are you using and which version of itunes do you have? are you using mac or pc ?

I dont think so, just the unicode is different
My bet is even in his PC, the character aren't showing up also

hmm..when i had my ipod..i din hv da such probs.
me was nano 2gb user...da itunes showed the chinese chracters..

my ipod recognized these chinese charachters...

I agree with LitteLinnet..try making sure ur pc can read chinese characters..after dat...check ur itunes too...

convert ur tags to id3v2 before loading it to itunes.
