i'll pinch u dude, very hard one biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

did he mentioned the details of the offer?i think the amount of money offered is the most interesting issue here..i think all clubs will have their offers heard by valencia only if the money is 30million euros or above

i think its more logical for roma to be interested on etoo, rather than cisse thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

perhaps we can expect some real changes from now on. mayb no more of 4-2-3-1 ?
*
er, do roma have the players to use other systems?

imo, teams who play this kind of tactics (1 striker supported by a group of creative midfielders) always have problems to change their style of play, especially in the middle of a season

maybe roma should try totti-vucinic partnership upfront? hmm.gif er, somehow i doubt that will work..

but yeah i agree spal should be allowed to stay..he is good in tactics..he will find something..now it is just those injuries make things bad for roma

Yup, roma's real strikers are only totti and okaka..if roma want to use 2 strikers, totti would be surely play as 2nd striker..and the toughest question to answer is who will be the top striker?i think the best option is vucinic..but he is not a true striker himself..okaka is still too young..or can he be another balotelli? hmm.gif hmm.gif i am not considering baptista now just yet..he still struggle to keep himself fit sad.gif sad.gif

hmm, have okaka been given enough chances so far on the field this season?

i think that is the problem now..roma's only out-and-out striker cant head the ball well and too slow already..to play such a role certainly needs more than very good technique of shooting a football (i admire totti because his shooting skills smile.gif )..

now i really want to watch roma game..can anybody tell me what time is roma's game tonight?maybe need to stream the match later sweat.gif sweat.gif

just read about the match at goal.com

the field was so soaked up even the bouncy football cant bounce on any area of the field biggrin.gif

next match is against juve right?maybe roma have a bit of advantage coming into that game, because juve's match was played as scheduled last night..roma players will be fresher for this weekend showdown

w00t 2molo morning local time we'll start our defense of the Coppa Italia. 1st match against Bologna... guess we'll play with some backup players n youngsters such as Okaka, Montella, Loria...

anyway now the Coppa is using the 1 match knockout system, which means if we lose this 1 we're out. there's no 2nd leg anymore. hm with a visit to Sicily against Catania coming up next, Spal might be in a dilemma whether to field a 'stronger' side or not.  hmm.gif

Montella?the aeroplane?
maybe not, you mentioned that he is a youngster..

I think Rosi and Andreolli are making a slow progress, no?

Marco Motta is indeed a good capture though. Better make it a permanent deal soon.

Hey Chrisky, we got a perfect goal thread here right? Since many voted pass-pass-pass bang goals there, why not if you post Cicinho's goal as a sample. A great sample. The move started from Cicinho in RB position, finished off by the same guy in a striker position. Pretty awesome move there thumbup.gif thumbup.gif . I think that is the best among those three. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I was surprised surprised surprised while looking at how Vucinic missed that PK. Dreaming??? Hardly a suitable time to get dreaming.

And I was surprised too when I heard at half time that Juan scored for Roma. Wasn't he highly doubtful for the match? Or he played through pain?

Edited: Just read the match news. Juan injured again eh? A recurring one?

Good luck to Luis. His work with our B team in the last 3 seasons has been remarkable. Third in Segunda was the highest placing in the history of our B team. But managing Roma is gonna be a whole new challenge, as while with Barca B, he only managed youngsters and some older players with flagging career. The ego was nearly nonexistent.

And de la Pena has also joined him at Roma too I heard rclxms.gif

Jeffren and Oriol have good talents. And under Luis, Jonathan scored 32 goals in Segunda last season. Although he is now already 25, Roma can hope that he'll be a late bloomer.

But there is an interesting article in Sport.es, that Luis has reveal in his blog that no agreement has been signed, although it really seems an agreement is imminent. Well Luis surely won't throw this chance away I guess.

I'm pretty sure that Sabatini is working according to the request or preference of LE. Bojan, Valdes, n Kameni are all from La Liga, so it wouldn't surprise me if LE actually specifically ask to go for them.

I think Spanish people often call 'Jose Angel Valdes' as 'Jose Angel', not Valdes.

btw whats ur take on him ? i have to say i never heard of him before, n he was being tipped to join Barca before this, no ?
*
Well I've heard of him before as a decent young left back set to rise to the top. And he had a good game against Barca last season as well. But don't put too much expectation on him yet. Firstly La Liga has seen several young emerging full backs being snapped up by bigger clubs, but disappear thereafter. Secondly Angel has never actually hold up a regular 1st team place at Sporting (he shared the position with the older Canella). Thirdly during Euro U21, he played not even one game, as Luis Milla preferred Didac Vila most of the time. And yes, Vila is the unfortunate boy who has returned to Espanyol after making only 1 appearance with Milan last season laugh.gif

Still, its a known fact that Barca showed some interest, and has even bid for him. So he should possess some quality right? thumbup.gif The key: Just be patient, OK?

he is in Rome right now, supposingly he'll sign the contract by today.

anyway Barca had confirmed that Bojan is joining us... but what the hell ? 12mil for now then Barca can buy him back for 13mil 2 years later, n to block that we need to pay up 28mil more to make it become 40mil overall... seriously, why would we agree to this kind of deal  doh.gif
*
He's still in Barcelona I think. His media conference at Camp Nou has just been concluded. He will fly out shortly to Rome later to sign the contract.

I sure will drop by this thread more often next season laugh.gif laugh.gif
