some reports claimed that we do not need to pay the 12mil. By the end of 2012/13 season, Barca HAVE to pay us 1mil (13mil minus 12mil) to get him back, n to block that we gonna dish out 28mil.

As I said, they can include the 12 million Euros in
THIS YEAR'S account. Probably to balance the book a bit. They could have always made it a 2 year loan deal with an option to purchase for 28 million Euros. Like I said, it's probably a way around the FFP, like City getting that overblown stadium naming deal from Etihad, whose chairman is Sheikh Hamed, Sheikh Mansour's half brother.
And yes, the terms are that Barca have to buy him back for 13 million Euros in 2 years as it's an obligatory buy back but if Roma wants to keep him, they have to pay 28 million Euros, which makes this deal even weirder. Hence the comment about it effectively being a loan deal with Barca paying Roma 1 million Euros to take him and an option for Roma to buy him for 28 million Euros at the end of the loan period.
So it is essentially a loan deal then. A 2 year loan deal with purchasing options for 28ME? Now things have become clearer....
...except, that I don't think Roma had to pay only 28ME if they want to exercise the purchasing option. Either Roma pay the 12ME now or later, the deal will always be 12+28=40ME. Again I can't imagine Roma forking out 40ME on a single player. You really think Roma will spend that much if Bojan make the grade Chrisky?
