rubbish mentality, rubbish performance. I know its freezing weather, but goddamn with all due respect its CSKA.

at this rate i honestly dont wan us to qualify into the next round, we gonna humiliate ourselves again sooner or later. Europa is probably a better ground for us now.

i guess winners take all in the last matchday

Roma wins = u guys go through regardless what the other result in Germany
City wins = they go through but at the same time hoping CSKA wouldn't beaten Bayern

if both the matches Roma-City and Bayern-CSKA both ended in a draw then thing would get a little complicated biggrin.gif

If both draw, Roma goes thru cause Roma has the best head to head of the 3 clubs.

in the event of 2 draws, we only go thru if our result is scoreless, any draw other than that will make MC to have a better goal difference thus they will advance.

if we are serious about qualifying to the next round, we can't aim for a draw, we need to go all in for the kill.

AS Roma: Are guaranteed to qualify if they beat Man City on the final day, and would also qualify with a 0-0 draw if CSKA lose to Bayern. Roma will also qualify with any draw if CSKA draw too -- they took all of their points from CSKA and Man City, meaning they would win a head-to-head with the three sides on six points.

here's stated otherwise :

http://www.football-italia.net/59149/roma-qualify-if

which kinda make sense to me :
- if we draw 0-0, we win the head to head against MC (1st leg was 1-1, we scored away).
- if draw 1-1, head to head is tied then will depends on goal difference, and the 1-7 will back to haunt us.
- if anything more than that means MC scored more away in head to head.

ok i think i'm wrong there if there's 2 draw - got confused with all the head to head and goal difference things...

if all ended in draw, we are thru cause we will have the most points against the other 2. My scenario is ONLY if CSKA lose.

Yeah. That 1-7 defeat means nothing cause in UCL, heads to head count before goal difference.

Missed the Sassuolo game due to being oversea... judging from the highlights, OMG what a cheap goal to gave away for the 1st one, Morgan just suddenly become so unreliable doh.gif

gonna brace ourselves for MC next, lets hope it'll be a good one biggrin.gif

Yeah the 1st half of the game quite lazy, De Rossi with his temper cost him two yellow card,
but thank god Adem Ljajic is there to score two goal,
and we are lucky Juve is draw as well, so the chances is still there

Hope ROMA can do well against MC this week! I hope to see we play at least knock-out stage after all this years of struggle. thumbup.gif

oh well i guess we now finally get to play the more fitting battleground for us - the almighty Europa League ! biggrin.gif

on serious note, its disappointing that our CL journey ends here but I have to say - based on our recent performance - we do not deserve to go thru. We're simply not ready for some serious CL actions... yet.

we are now probably one of the best teams in EL on paper, I do hope the team will give it a serious shot as well... but we're ROMA, so things will never be easy and straightforward lol biggrin.gif

extremely lucky 3 points we got, the boys played awful and we actually do not deserve the points.

Nainggolan got to be the league best midfielder, we could be sitting at mid table if not of him... Grande Radja !

anyway we close the gap to the top now, that should keep things interest in the league now biggrin.gif

Does anyone see the game Roma and Milan?
Freaking angry with the reff, stupid reff, should be label as blind or OKU reff,
De Jong clearly should be given penalty! Now 3 points below Juve! mad.gif

i didn't watch it so can't comment much, but it sounds like our defense was actually OK, but the attack seem to be lacking doh.gif

anyway a very good news to all Romanisti out there - the new stadium plan was discussed and approved by the Rome city council yesterday ! So next and final step will be present the plan to Regione Lazio (the region administration office? should be something like that) and get the final green light biggrin.gif
