thought I should share this opportunity since everyone looking for high pay jobs 🌚

minimum first class honours ya (on job street they didn't require a first class honours)
and it trains you to be a "relationship manager" whistling.gif

in a job hunting phase, you should help one another, not treat each other as competitors sweat.gif

It likely involves sales.

And if you know anything about sales, a large portion of your income comes from commissions.

THEN you hit 5k

What kind of questions are to be expected for each stage? And what’s the outcome of the program though? Career-growth wise.

as far as i remember no technical question is asked.

first first two stages are easy:
common interview questions but you have to give very detailed example in a very structured format (think STAR).

The GM did ask me things like:
So what are your views on brexit?
What impact will it have on the financial sector?
Some political views on malaysia as well (since that time GE haven't happen)

Career growth wise, if you sought a career in banking, maybe this could be for you sweat.gif
For me no, my end goal is investment, in a way this doesn't exactly contribute to the knowledge I'm going after, so I wouldn't join even if they pay me this much, like comparing big 4 deals advisory 3k+ and this for 5k, I would happily take big4 deals advisory

if i remembered correctly, there is a 3 year bond, or at least you're bonded for some time.

That's really high for a fresh grad. That's practically at the top 5% of salary for fresh grads in Malaysia.

In fact it's no 8 in the list.

So it's a 4C status company.

Be forewarned.

diu if they can afford to invest 5k on your head it means they want to train and retain u. how the fuck is paying 5k not worth it for a guy straight out of college? Consulting firms paying double of that for fresh grads too. These are attraction points indeed for people with high qualifications and u seem unfit for it.

is it worth it? They'll work you till they think it is worth it icon_idea.gif

the rest of the question, you can ask them if you get the offer.

What are the terms? How many years bond?

So far, those high paying MT/MA programs are actually not that worth it because they give a huge sum in the beginning but no increment till the bond is over. Normally is 3-4 years bond. Alliance Bank MT is one of them... paying RM3.3k but bond for 3 years. Most people who start off RM2.8k as exec already reach RM3.3k or more after 3 years just by increment yearly and if lucky enough, got promoted will be even faster than those MT/MA people.

I'm not with hongleong so I wouldn't know the terms, but if I remembered correctly it is 2 years.

5k with no increment for 2 years still sound better than 2.8k for the first year and let's say 3.8k for the second, and even 4.8k for the third year (I think u know what I meant)

anyways not everyone is qualified enough to start at 5k so get an offer first before thinking bout the negatives 😉

2 Years is still ok.. some 3 years to 5 years.. that is quite bad.

But normally those paying extra high MA not MT would bond at least 3 years, try check with them properly.

Of course it is good if you are only aiming for increment. Some people get promoted every year or even half a year (Don't ask me how but I've seen quite a few people are that lucky). Some already earning RM7k+ by the time you complete your MA. My 2nd company, there is this guy became Manager in just 4 years of working. Starting pay RM2.3k only but for some shit reason he climb damn fast and the 4th year he switch co. and become manager. It all depends on individual, some look at these program as a trepidation to their career because of the bonding period, whereas some actually benefited from it.

But based on my observation, MA/MT people can't climb fast compared to those who start off as specialist execs. Reason is because after your MA/MT program complete, no company actually willing to absorb you since you are not a specialist and throughout the 3 years you are going around each department like being on a merry-go-round. I'm not saying it is bad because some who benefited from the program are people who after completion got promoted in their own company and go up and up within the same company. But for those who decided not to stay for whatever reason, I noticed a lot are having a hard time getting a job in other co. especially if they want higher pay cause no co. would want to pay you 5/6k with no experience in a specific field.

Overall, it is a very subjective matter. As mentioned above, not everyone would have the same fate as others. Some start off slow (like me, seriously.. i was slow like shit that I am way way way below the average for my qualification and expertise) but go up higher than anyone else when reach mid 30's whereas some start off so damn fast but got stuck at a later age.

hahaha, bro. i seem unfit for it?

of course. ive been working so long already.
im just asking about the working environment.

i am actually hiring people, not looking to be hired.
I am just finding out if its worth to pay someone like that, and issit worth for them to work for that pay, must be very demanding.

u misjudged people when he only ask simple questions.
furthermore, reply with vulgar words.

u must be some 2 inch wannabe. have some little edge and then already look down on other people.

high qualifications?

hahahaha. i was a straight As student out of SPM, got 3 agencies want to sponsor me, studied overseas, have a job waiting even before finish studying, have an iq of 160 (MENSA certified), but i wished to work in other company, start from bottom and after few years became director of the company.

u said im unfit for it? hahaha.

Wasnt trying to judge people based on qualifications. I thought the way you asked was very condescending and sceptical. My apologies then. Theres always a mountain higher elsewhere. smile.gif

Why not break through big firms and start somewhere with your advantage? maybe you couldve been bigger and better than where u are now.
