I think wiki already answered most of your question so below is just my opinion/tips:-

Save your golden bullin for best ship(or your soon to be waifu?), only Vampire worth getting from 3 new ship, Atago will be added to normal construction later.

Recomended SR ship: Hood(BB),Enterprise(CV),Illustrious(CV). This 3 is currently best SR existing on EN server.


Aim for this on your PVE fleet(I wont mention SR ship & ship not on EN server yet):

DD:Any starter DD, Fortune(Retrofit), Vampire(Current event ship),Ayanami(4-star Z23,Laffey & Javelin)
CL:Helena,Cleveland(sunglasses meme girl), Phoenix, Avrora(CBT code)
CA:Indianapolis, Wichita(4-star Helena,Phoenix,Brooklyn)
CVL/AR: Shouhou,Unicorn,Vestal
CV/L:Saratoga(1 dollar to claim her), Ranger(Retrofit), Lexington
BC/BB/BM:Rodney, Nelson,Arizona. Recommend lv5+ skill for Terror & Erebus before using them.

Anyway I'm playing on Lexington & Sandy. No plan to create guild for now, those ring more expensive than 700-yen KC ver.

I got Atago already. Just learnt how to increase the stars of the ships (Limit Break). I'm guessing the colors indicate rarity too :-
Grey - Common
Blue - Rare
Yellow - Super rare
Purple - Elite (only got those limit break ships)
...that's all I got for now

Interestingly this game takes a lot of resources and battery power like a 3D game?

Like it more than I should really. If not grinding much still can passively do commissions. Have all of the super rares now, feels good.

Non event SR is like 7% pretty high rate for mobile game.

Event ship on the other hand at least some of them got rerun so if you miss it this month wait rerun

Well the super rare drop ship is a bit harder to get like Foxes and Poi, but farmable so not a problem haha

poi2 was easy to farm

but the akaga sister i wont waste too much oil on farming their clone probably just gonna do hard mode 3-4 for carrier bluprint to retrofit shouhou.

and use my oil for world 6 farm to get purple plate

Yuudachi. Time reset is 24:00 PST which mean 15:00 our time.

the rarity (number of stars or the color) dictates the cost and max enhance level of equipment
Normal * (max lvl3)
Normal ** (max lvl3)
Rare *** (max lvl6)
Elite **** (max lvl10)
Super Rare ***** (max lvl10)
(Rainbow) Legendary ****** (max lvl10)

but the T number doesn't seem to matter that much in general. The T number goes up to T3 but there are exceptions to the rule like T4 or T0 or up to T2 or T1 variant equipment but those are rare.
