QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Dec 15 2018, 11:05 PM) It is paid version. But you can use free version from this list:- https://www.mactip.net/enable-ntfs-writing-mac/ so you are also using some software, i thought you meant by default edi can write NTFS Nevertheless, thank you for the clarification which one you use then?? |

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Dec 15 2018, 06:20 PM) QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Dec 15 2018, 11:31 PM) Exfat disk. Its compatible with windows and mac.Majority using cloud - OneDrive, Dropbox & Google Drive. My usb c portable ssd is formatted as exfat. Tested performance is faster compare to using NTFS. er.. you are making me confused. So you are using Exfat or NTFS? If NTFS, which software you use to enable Mac OS to write NTFS? |

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Dec 15 2018, 11:40 PM) As mentioned previously u can refer to the link that just share. By the way, why u concern on writing to ntfs when using Mac. A bit weird... ok. Because i havent got a mac, wanna buy one in future, but all my HDDs and thumbdrives currently in NTFS format, if NTFS format can't be write in default, i plan to change all of them to Exfat formats to avoid any issue when i got a mac later. |

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Dec 16 2018, 07:37 AM) Well I also the same. Using windows for 20 years. Having the same doubt but mine more toward app and OS compatibity/So what I did was run macOS in VMware to familiar and test compatibity on app. So far so good. Those app that cannot run, I will run windows on VMware fusion. thank you and appreciate a lotTherefore don’t have any issue. |

The 2 ports sufficient to be use? I mean the power source already take out 1 port. So only left 1 port available.

QUOTE(westlife @ Jul 13 2019, 10:28 AM) not enough, u are likely need to use USB-c adaptor to expand for more ports. Expected already Haiz. That’s why I think is best to have minimum 3 ports but Apple been Apple got a whole team to on the best strategy to milk the customers. four ports are still better obviously. Especially four ports u have the choice to place ur power at either left or right depending on ur table setup. but given the price, it is really good for anyone who wants to get a MacBook Pro. Still thank you for your input. I may only buy it on next year. Wanna see what Apple release Oh ya, I saw a lot of people bashing that this new MacBook Pro only got 1 fan, is it really sufficient for Final Cut Pro? Will have throttle issue like the more power MacBook Pro? This post has been edited by MasBoleh!: Jul 13 2019, 11:56 AM |
