Bought 13 inch 1.4Ghz 8GB 256Gb SSD Space Grey instead from Machines on Friday...

At first I was skeptical whether to upgrade SSD or RAM for d past week prior to launch, but overall I feel very satisfied of the specs in the long run...

I played some Steam games, tested YouTube vids and running few programs that is not power taxing, all ran well

Perfect laptop for me in the long run smile.gif

How was the keyboard ... apart from less key travel does is really reliable and not prone to malfunction like keys sticking up .

There were quite a lot of sellers in Facebook selling macbook pro cheaper than education price. Weird...

I got ask one of the seller and been told that if wanna claim warranty cannot go to Apple Store but must to him. I thought Macbook Pro warranty is international?

Are those macbook pro been sell are refurbish set? hmm.gif

Get the serial number and you can check online the Macbook Age.
Have a gut feel the seller won't reveal that to you .

So is a potential scam isn't it? Seller claim is new but cannot go to Apple store for warranty claim hmm.

the price is cheaper than education store somemore.

Most probably a used device, Apple product will never go too much of the price range and it will stay stable even after years and years.

1 - worst mouse ever, I am an Apple fan but this is the mouse I will never buy again. Totally not friendly for big hands.

2 - spend more on high end gaming mouse such as Logitech etc. You no need to do gaming to take advantage of the mouse. They are absolutely good for productivity also. High end mouse does make a big difference.

I am always using Razer mouse series, too bad Mac does not allow Synapses yet, never the less Razer mouse works just fine in MacOS.

But buying a used one really a hit a miss and depends on luck I would say.

My MBP is from 2010 till today is working find no issues with 1x battery replacement . Had to replace the battery since its making the keyboard hard to press due to battery bulging.

Had reformat 2x in the period of 10 years now.
