QUOTE(fireloh @ Sep 3 2018, 02:12 PM) My babysitter costs RM1300 (including night time) and RM1000 (excluding nighttime) in butterworth area. Public holiday and Saturday night and Sunday are not working Hi, do you visit and see your baby every day although you're not taking him/her home? I am considering inclusive nightime babysitter but apprehensive about not seeing my baby every day. But we know we have to get one cause i have to leave house at 6.30 for work every day. Then work late, so fetching baby's schedule will be erratic.

When 2 decades back, my mom was still a babysitter. The parents already top up $ automatically eventhough my mom say baby didn't eat much. And after several months, they even brought fish and chicken over happily, telling my mom that $ is for the effort and they scare my mom will rugi. As my mom not only serving porridge, she even give the baby full bowl of mashed potato, carrot (from ABC soup cook with Kg. Chicken) as main meal, the spinach porridge is very greenish.. real nutrition put in and if you aware how much ikan bilis you need to blend into powder just to produce that bowl of porridge. Baby can't eat 1 whole chicken breast. But do you know, to make an aromatic sweet porridge, not surprise that you steam a whole chicken breast to get the liquid out to make porridge? No salt use at all. Unless you do mind that your baby sitter eat the tasteless and rough chicken meat after it squeeze out all the essence, or she should reserve it bk to the parents.. as the baby cannot swallow meat . So it depends on babysitter. If you don't trust your babysitter, send her meat and vege. Cook your own proper nutritional meal for your baby during weekend. I recall last time I steam a whole fish fillet and minced it, then mix with soft porridge to feed my 1 year old boy. The boy can finish it. If really need to feed the precious 1 with real food.. is really not cheap.

QUOTE(joEy kUa @ Sep 30 2018, 05:38 PM) but most parent will not want their baby to stay overnight with baby sitter nowadays. need quality time n care with their baby I have to consider overnight baby sitter because I would prefer not to wake bb up as early 5.30am (I don't think he will sleep it through after I change diapers, feed and put him in car seat), drop him and then sometimes if there's meeting, I might ended up only getting him back home after 9pm? Doesn't look like bb will get a lot of sleep here. I want him to have good sleep routine instead of like us, going on working schedule. Also long undisturbed sleep is good for growth.

Why don't you consider getting a maid Put baby in parents house together with maid Better stay in with baby daily, so that baby grow up have better bonding Else you'll miss the moments Try to be with baby everyday if possible When there's a will there's a way

And both side parents hate having stranger in their house type. My mil fired her maid within months. Also, as baby is premature, we prefer local lady instead of maid from another country. I am looking for temporary stay-in nanny, someone who stay at my house to take care of baby until I am back to work. If good and trustable, might consider retaining her for permanent. Where's your location? I know of one good one. She is my church member. Truly good hearted those kind. Currently taking care of one girl (I think a few years old now). And at times bring her to church. I asked another church member how was the years she sent her child to this church member last time, she replied very positive about the care given to her child from 2 months+ to 6 years old And my church member said she knows her child is in good hands than giving to unknown. Location at Bukit Puchong Not stay in nanny
