Hi to all sifus here,
Been taking up riding as a hobby a few months back. I've been using an old Helios Polygon from my father. I'm trying to get a new bike but i don't have that much budget.
I've been eyeing on a used 2016 Merida Reacto 5000. Just want to know is it okay for me to go for an used bike ? or if so, any recommendation for an entry bike around 3.5k price range ?

yeah- make sense to go for used bike.
good value for money....
also... if everyone buying new bikes, the Otai's here will be hard to sell off their old bike and upgrade new 2020 version aero bike

All depends your group riding intensive fast pace short ride OR steady pace endurance long ride. Not to drop, means stick (draft) to the front rider as close as possible least to save you 30% energy. Need some technique, otherwise will be disastrous (crash). |

Reacto is an aero bike, not suitable for casual/occasional ride. If you like Merida, should opt for Scultura instead. |
