Hi there,

I've done a little bit of research on MBA programs in Malaysia and found that the Strathclyde MBA is the most suitable program for me. Of course I've considered MBS and Nottingham. But MBS is just too expensive and Nottingham, well it ranked below Strathclyde.

So, before I apply for the Strathclyde MBA, can someone please let me know some of the bad things about Strathclyde MBA, if any.

TQ.

I've never heard of in depth comments about the uni, only MBS but I've Googled this out for you.
This guy basically gave his overall views on MBA programme with University of Strathclyde in November 2006. It has the bads and the goods. Now I know what is the best Business School in Scotland.

Hi....which ranking are you using?? I dun see Strathclyde's name in FT ranking.....

anyway, if the B-school is not in top 30 of the ranking, there's not much difference in terms on ROI anyway.

How are you calculating ROI? Are you basing the ROI on an MBA graduate working in Malaysia or outside of Malaysia? Is it even realistic to expect any reasonable ROI if you work in Malaysia after getting an MBA at a Top 30 B-school?

from what has been posted by Wayne, his info is based on doing ft in UK anyway. So, it's parallel for me to compare globally.

About Malaysia in recognising an MBA, it depends on the kind of company you're working with. (a global company will generate better chance of overseas postings)btw, taking an MBA without any years of WE is a waste of time. and if a person never thot of working outside of M'sia, then taking a local MBA is sufficient. Jz like a fren of mine taking one of the top Australian MBA becoz she will be moving der to work. If u need more info on MBA, pls feel free to PM me as I'm one of those 200k ft MBA applicants. nod.gif
