u can get these bikes, provided u hv no issue with spending $$$ if shit happens,
and have no problem with downtime.

u are a backyard pomen, diy kaki, know where to order parts frm china, no nid to rely on
local supplier..

kaki modi yg kuat... interest is to tinker with motobikes.

if u wana ride these to work everyday..
pray more n pray hard...

it really depends on wht u want...

an owner can tell you his bike no problem so far..

doesnt mean the bike u buy will be problem free like his... biggrin.gif

maybe u can say that im optimist.
but i have good fate with China products, i believe it was not like those years where china product will explode by itself.
at least i come across with few manufacturer with super quality products.
however, im not sure about motor industry things, thus open this thread for those owner of China bike to comments on that 2 specific motorbike (keeway and Brixton)
anyway, i do appreciate the comments from the others sifu here.

i own a madass before, as other mentions, china bikes is pretty simple, if not mistaken one version on ex5 have almost similar engine (part) .....
but there is some issue, especially local workshop, most of them refuse to do cause they don't carry the part, even they wanted to do, they charge u ridiculous prices (as most mech start this type habit).

my experience. started koyak, shop quote me rm 160 as part difficult to find, i open it, change that carbon and it cost me RM 4.
carb rosak, they said prices is crazy and bla bla, i bought 150cc carb and it work find.
Engine oil cooler causing problem (i add my own), shop said dunno, i just replace the hoses ....

Disposable motorcycle, like baby's diapers. Use it till it die of xxx. Then get a new one. Cheap enough. Don't bother to repair, can be too expensive. Unless you're DIY type. Can source from China direct, etc. thumbup.gif

i am looking at ktns Z2 also (China zongshen rebrand), basically what is good about this is that the spareparts can be bought easily from taobao if you can read chinese.

Benelli/Keeway is okay. My neighbour used it everyday until it got stolen. (I'm serious, someone actually stole it). But I've also heard of people complaining about QC issues such as wiring problems or just built quality not as good.

Keep in mind that benelli/keeway have not been in the SEA market for as long as Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki so we don't know if they'll last 100,000 km without problems.

Basically, if you're not unlucky, then the bike should last you quite a bit. Benelli/Keeway parts are also simple and should be easy to get

i owned a k light 202. Been using it for a year now. So far no problem. Top speed is around 120kmph. Yeah spare part is only from the dealer or buy it from tao bao.Easy to makeup. most of the engine part is like Honda Cg. Its flashy and will make people stop and ask u what bike it is cool2.gif
