Does this k-lite codec support vista?? Does any problem occur like when playing the movie half and it will jump to the end?

yes it supports vista and no problems encountered

but some of the movies will jump to the end although it haven't finish. so this is the movie problem?

this problem only occurs to me when the movie has not fully downloaded and when i play on VLC Media Player. i think u will get better response if u post your problem at the Multimedia subforum

Wat the difference between full, standard and basic?

I've installed K-Lite Codec Pack 3.7.0 Full back then. But when playing 3GP and MP4 file. My PC goes BSOD and auto-restart. I think it still a non-stable version.

are u using media player classic? make sure to enable directshow for quicktime and real video for playaback,
the BSOD is prolly cause by playabck through directx.

Just remove that version of K-Lite and try to use old version. See whether BSOD or not.

fire up mpc, press o, go to format, search for quicktime, click on the highlighted area, should appear a dropdown list, change to directshow.

lolz. Usually codecs does not change everytime K-Lite releasing new version. It's same oso. No need to update. Unless you reformat your PC and feel free to install new version in one shot.

codecs DO update them selves like the new g-spot codec/filter is v2.70a liao.. and of course the need to upgrade that's why there's a new release of K-Lite duuuuhhhh

Umm..... they have removed CoreAVC in the latest release. My MPC gave me BSOD when playing H.264 (AVC) videos, until I set ffdshow to decode the file.
