are u using media player classic? make sure to enable directshow for quicktime and real video for playaback,
the BSOD is prolly cause by playabck through directx.

![]() fire up mpc, press o, go to format, search for quicktime, click on the highlighted area, should appear a dropdown list, change to directshow. done. update ur direct x and gc driver might help alot too. |

ffdshow one still slow as usual i think, latest version already has SSSE3 optimization included, but its only work on intel, especially Core2 cpu iirc.
you could try media player classic home cinema, the internal h264 decoder is almost as fast as Coreavc in software mode, but im not sure bout the requirements. hardware mode completely pwn Coreavc for sure, but its only work with very strict conditions. |
