QUOTE(pin0245 @ Jul 2 2018, 02:58 PM) mine was told to be taken to register last week, until today still no reply JPJ registration should be that long isn't it? i guess depends on how many cars they have to register in the week....if there's a high number of cars then it would take some time

QUOTE(Tankhawk500 @ Jul 5 2018, 09:24 AM) So I guess this car really does get 20.1 km/l as advertised Only possible on highway I guess Nevertheless I'm impressed Just do these few steps and you (maybe) good to go - Maintain RPM below or around 3K - Make sure Eco light lights up the entire way (Needs a very steady foot) - 110-130kmph KL to SG - I think AC plays a part in this too. Sometimes I set it to level one or just completely off it depends on the weather. - RON 97 plays an important role (better FC burn) Appreciate the share bro..thank you..so it is possible.

QUOTE(Tankhawk500 @ Jul 8 2018, 09:02 PM) I would recommend MYYCar Autoworks at Cheras if you are in KL but in JB..........sorry bro not familiar. Yeah. looks like for anything mods that involves wiring and all that I better go to shops I know have done it. Guess I'll do it when I drive to KL next round. I plan to get that rear light reflector like yours also. I want to write a review about my experience so far. Will do it when I have the time.

Just want to comment, I think the smartlink on the Adv H.U. is useless. Cant use the function if the hp screen is off. sacrifice hp screen on time for H.U functionality? pfft.
Oh, I'm also facing the same problem for bluetooth connectivity. Song skipping/drop quite number of times during my travel from KL to JB. I read in the previous posts someone else is facing this problem as well.
Bottom line, have to change the H.U.

QUOTE(Tankhawk500 @ Jul 9 2018, 02:03 PM) Yeah we both can agree on that. BT I usually have no problem.........so far for now. Just don't play songs from BT as the sound quality is really bad. Also the song skipping issue I have experienced is usually on the old myvi. New one so far don't have...yet. If play songs, better from pendrive or SD card (don't touch the latter as it's for GPS functionality). If you were to change HU, go for the ones with Apple Carplay or Android Auto. BT audio quality is bad, i agree. I budget constraint a bit if I wanna look for H.U with Android Auto. But to be honest I kinda dislike that it depends on mostly voice commands and the UI also, not really to my liking. I never really tried it though...hmm. In my previous car I just buy an Android H.U. , log on to my hp's wifi and download apps on the H.U. it self. The HP only provide data hotspot. Rest I set on the H.U. Pretty ok with the setup.

QUOTE(Tankhawk500 @ Jul 12 2018, 08:40 PM) Yes bro. Drilling is required for the wire to go through to connect to the rear lights. Drilling bumper is purely cosmetic so I don't think will void warranty. As for the rear lights, provided you don't tap into the wires (cutting the ori wire here and there but its easier than not tapping), then warranty won't void. Thanks for the info bro...another thing want to ask you also..the HUD you bought...daytime can see clear aah?

QUOTE(Tankhawk500 @ Jul 12 2018, 09:20 PM) Usually when you buy the HUD it comes with a reflective screen. Mine does too. Looks like this. It makes the viewing clear at daytime. You also can choose not to use it but it won't be so obvious during day and the HUD might be a little distorted (like double image). You can view the video here. I'm using the exact same one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvt61TwW0pQNice! Detailed review... It says the cig lighter power cable is 8 feet long. How did you route your wire to the HUD ? I noticed you used a dashboard cover..but from the cig lighter to the dashboard, you wired over the steering wheel then only go up the dashboard?

QUOTE(Tankhawk500 @ Jul 12 2018, 11:28 PM) Yep pretty much. Also put some tapes to hold the wire in place. Red circle indicate I put the cable behind steering. Blue circle indicate the cable actually can be put behind those plastic dashboards. Have to peel open a bit just nice for a cable to go through. Then the rest my dashboard cover covers the rest of the wayar. thanks for the info sifu...planning on getting it...the seller in lazada seem to have bad rating but i think quite number of people got it already...

@Tankhawk500, just purchased the HUD you recommended. Want to ask you, when you park your car..do you store the HUD?
At my work place we usually park in the open. I worry 2 things: weather and prying eyes. How is your HUD so far?
