I've rattling noise problem with my new myvi received 2 weeks ago. On my second drive, a persistent rattling noise comes from the driver side when the car is moving (in D or N gear). But don't hear any loud noise going over the bump. Finger crossed.

The rattling noise also appears when I shake hard at the driver seat when the car is stopped. I did the same at the front passenger seat but no rattling noise. Haven't check the passenger back seat. But the noise sounds comes from the front on the right side.

Can't tell whether it is from the front spring or door panel or somewhere else. I recorded the sound for you all to listen. I'm going to SC soon. Can pls share your opinion and experience. Appreciate it.

Edit: Forgot to mention the weird thing is that the rattling noise only appears after abt 30minutes drive, guess it is trigger when the front part of the car gets heat up by the engine??. This I noticed twice already, will try again to confirm.

Hi Tankhawk, I saw the shades in Mr DIY @ Jayaone ytd. I am just wondering how practical the shades are. They look cool but will it not be very troublesome to take them down (esp the driver side) whenever we need to roll down the windows? Eg. to order/pay for drive-thru.

Looks premium & class above! However, i believed it won't come wallet friendly Now, whoever is diving in to it please ask for some safety aspect example will there be any sensor if the opening or closing especially hitting an object? Your gf or mother in-law will not be impress if their heads got hit or stuck or worst still if a child suddenly walk in between!!

Soundproofing next?

I've also had some rattling issues at the boot door area which I tried to get fixed at Perodua Service centre in Subang Jaya but they made it worse. The next day I went to Perodua Sentral instead and got it fixed.

So choose wisely the centre.

When you're there, please give the service advisor a ride in your car and show him as detailed as possible where the sounds are coming from. Then only he can tell properly to the foreman for repair. My repair took 6 hours total so you may want to leave the car there and collect when done. Good luck!

Installed throttle controller and the pick up is super good. Step a bit already 5k+ RPM. Maybe 0-100 can be less than 10 seconds?
