It can be off from the switch, my question is, for the auto idle green indicator to be ON, looks like it got certain time during driving it will switch ON, it is not like it will switch ON immediately
(^__^)
It will turn on only when the condition is right, meaning the engine must be hot enough, the cabin temperature not too hot (depends on the air con setting).
Guys..I have a rattling problem at my left side of the cabin but cannot really find where the hell the rattling came from. The rattling sound only came out if I drive alone. When there are passengers, the rattling is nowhere to be heard.
That may shows that the sound came from front or rear seat but it sounded like it came from the front door frame or B-pillar but that cannot be concluded atm.. I'm quite frustrated right now..
Probably just the seatbelt buckle vibrating against the B pillar.
Hi, just got my mum a new advance variant. Excellent car. Saw a statement in the 1st page here asking to go back to sc for rear absorbers rubber or sth. Can somebody be kind to explain what's that about.
Newer batch got no such issue so there's no need to install any rubber.
used soft99 wax to clean off the water marks...looks clean a few days
the water marks came back even more now
should i apply another wax product on top of it after used soft99?
I don't have those water marks. I suggest you rinse the door handles properly during car wash. Car shampoos can cause those marks.

Aiyo... Does this mean everyone having the similar high pitch sound also have defective blower?
I'm having the same issue as well, but I thought it's just indicating that the blower is working hard.
Check out this video that I've uploaded and see if your problem same as mine:

Hi everyone, just done my 20k service and report to sc about knocking sound. They said they fix it, but the sounds still persists.
Im having an issue where got loud knocking sound coming from rear. It only sounds on uneven road, going speed bump. the sounds only come when there is no one sitting at the back.
Need help~ Anyone had this experience before? Until now still dunno what is the root of the cause.
Should only happen to early batches. If you didn't receive any letter from perodua telling you to change the rear springs, your car should be OK. Try take out all the tyre changing tools and see if the sound persists.
Finally I went to replace the noisy aircon blower motor. So much peaceful now driving the car Apparently the motor brand is Denso. My old Kelisa's motor also Denso but never failed. I guess their quality have dropped
My mother recently got her 1.5AV and I have the chance to drive it for few days. Here is what I found compared to my unit which I got it January last year:
- door lock unlock sounds more solid. - no vibration on both headlamps. My unit got slight vibration on the left side. - slightly less jerk during auto start stop. - no rattling sound from front dashboard so far. My unit rattles a lot especially on the chrome trims. - plenty of rattles coming from right passenger door. My unit is quiet on the doors.
New myvi owner reporting in! Just collected today. Just wondering, can i ask SC to adjust the headlamp? Just noted there is small gap between the headlamp and bumper.

That gap is normal.

I'm facing driver's door panel rattling noise like hitting metal part. Anyone facing the same issue?
Just tell SC during your next servicing. They'll fix it for you.

Hey guys, just did the 1000km inspection today. Is it normal practice to: 1. Install new hood insulators 2. Not change oil
For no 1 I'm thinking they sogok me, but it's okay la. Not that exp also. Worried about no 2 as the next service is the 10000km one. Shouldn't the oil be changed already?
Also my SC guy fixed the left side rear passenger door rattling noise. Like someone else here, the guy installed rubber and padding.
1k only inspection, no oil change.

are those light swirl marks easy to remove? easy to spot on when under direct sunlight
Need to polish to remove. Otherwise don't look at it under direct sunlight.
I've just checked my engine, that is the coolant tank that I'm talking about. It's all water inside thou, during collection of the car I don't think its ever coolant inside. I've been adding water regularly and believe me i wouldn't if i know its another liquid substance inside.
Is it advisable to change it? maybe get some anti rust coolant. How often does it need to be topped?
Water can be very bad for your radiator and engine. I would advice you go to perodua SC to do a full radiator coolant flush and ask them to check for leaks. Usually coolant level will only need to top up just a bit per year.
Also, don't try to buy those green colour coolant from supermarkets. Mixing coolant types is also very bad.
Wouldn't be fair if every MYVI is equipped with the pink coolant but mine is water since it came out from factory. and the damage its already done, how are they gonna warrant this. I'm getting my car over to the service center first thing tmr morning to get to the bottom of this.
Good thing i saw the sirap bandung post this morning.
Good decision as I don't think can wait until 20k service. Btw, does the level really dropped until you need to top up? Could there be a leak? My mileage now is over 22k but never need to top up so far.

where to get distilled water? i cant find it at the typical tesco/giant/711 im using the green colour coolant in my car after draining out all the old fluid
whats the negative effect?
Those drinking water that labeled air suling will do. Or can use battery water, which is also distilled.
Our Myvi uses OAT type coolant (red or pink) and not the traditional IAT type (green). I think better follow factory recommendation.
