let get some benchmark here..will it speed up all the hdd in a rig or just the 1 which have the C partition

Interesting, no doubt, but can anybody do any benchmark?

If it's purpose is to overclock the HDD, then I don't think I want to do it (Then again, I don't think there is such a thing as HDD overclocking!!! doh.gif)

Probably increase the cache or stack or something......

this tweak does NOTHING in XP, as XP does not use those settings from system.ini/386 enh
if we were talking 98 or ME, then that would be a different story.
common... dont modify tweaks/think them up, with out a little more understanding.

IRQ14 is the interrupt request handle for IDE drives. Anyways i believe most IDE drivers that come recommended with the chipset (Intel Chipset Utility, Nforce IDE driver and such) already come with special interrupt handling buffers factored in.

better not to try... if ur hdd faulty... need do much work... send back RMA.. if warranty over... need to buy new 1... seems hdd always got bad sector...
