The backyard area almost completed. Just realised two things:

1. The color of the inner roof is silver, almost similar to the tiles. Anyone here thinks it’s too boring? Or looks ok already?

2. It has a water pipe. Thinking of whether i should fix a sink there- marked by circle (for future use in case we cookout outside). The contractor suggested if i want the sink outside, he will hack the liter wall and install pipe inside along the wall and outlet into the drain. Good idea? Picture below:

By the way Angelteoh- apparently i had to buy more tiles, additional of 20 tiles. Reason given is because my area has a step down (sort of drain area) therefore they have to cut the tiles to cover the sides. Also i suspect that the area is actually bigger that quoted 30 ft x 10 ft. Will go and measure tomorrow.

Quite happy with the pictures by contractor. Fingers crossed that the workmanship is good when i inspect for real tomm.

Anyways, work started around 21/22 june, and have already paid 50% of the job. Today contractor asked progress payment 10%- decided to pay as am generally satisfies with the work done.
