Actually quite competitive if have ABS, no ABS is an ok only deal.
In real life, the discount would make it a little more than 20k. These days a 150cc Vespa already cost 15k new, a 250cc at 20k is an ok price already. |

QUOTE(ben_panced @ Mar 1 2019, 10:59 AM) slipper clutch is useful for racing when you downshift hard rear because tire might lock if you didnt throttle blip correctly to rev match. Understand now. QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Mar 1 2019, 11:59 AM) Slipper is to prevent wheel locking if you accident shift to lower great at high speed. How on earth does one accidentally shift down to 2nd or 3rd gear on a sequential shifter of a 6-speed gearbox - at high speed?Try shifting to 2nd or 3rd gear when you are doing high speed. |

QUOTE(mushigen @ Mar 8 2019, 09:10 AM) How on earth does one accidentally shift down to 2nd or 3rd gear on a sequential shifter of a 6-speed gearbox - at high speed? Don't ask me how.But this is the reason slipper clutch is invented. To prevent rear wheel jerking or rear wheel hopping when down shift too low . From wiki...
The main purpose of a slipper clutch is to prevent over engine rev and rear wheel hop (or clatter) especially under hard braking in a vehicle (usually performance motorcycles).[1][2] |

Sorry for bumping topic but I can't help but feeling funny looking at people comparing a full fairing sport CBR250RR with a naked CB250R. Satu bagi vroom vroom satu bagi street riding. What's the point talking about topspeed for CB250R unless you want to bang into a building going at 180kmph. Plus cmon guys, you mau topspeed? Don't buy 250cc. Get a bigger bike like Ninja 400/650 R6 CBR650RR.
CC is not the only factor you compare bikes ok? Rather I'm more interested into comparing CB250R with Z250 ABS or MT-25. Any owners care to share experience for daily city urban KL Selangor commute? (2nd hand market z250 abs and cb250r are at the same price range too around 17-18k so might as well get new one I guess, unless I get Z250 non abs at 9k or SL at 7k) This post has been edited by CrunchyKitkatZ: May 31 2022, 04:18 PM |
