I bought this HDMI - Lightning cable last year, for my iphone screen mirror to my TV.

It worked perfectly last year. However, when I try to connect my iphone to my TV again recently, it does not work anymore. The built-in software for the HDMI-Lightning cable is Ezcast version 15844004 .

I searched through google and youtube about the problem. it seems that I need to update the firmware of Ezcast. however, I did not manage to update the firmware no matter how i tried. When I plug in the cable to my iphone, my iphone show "trust this this computer?" and i click YES. however, the TV screen still shows "trust this computer?".

Last year when i clicked YES in my iphone, my iphone will connect to TV and screen mirror immediately.

Any solutions ???

Most likely Apple changed something in iOS 11 or higher. Every update tend to break something.

Probably yes...That’s why some people (from google search result ) advised to update the hdmi-lightning adapter firmware. But i couldn’t do it despite trying so many times...not even able to connect the adapter using iphone wifi/hotspot
