same here. my charger wheelies for about 400+ meters. in fact, if its more than 400m it doesn't make sense as a 1/4 mile is only 400m. weird.

gimme screenshot at ur car setting. I suck at drag. And the final race with Watanabe, cannot use grip car. only speed and drag. paiseh

It pays to replay the tournament before you meet the kings. I replayed the tournament before the drag king finale so many times to unlock stage 4 stuff for my Zonda. My drag record for 1/4 is now 6.91, and for 1/2 was 10.75

Watanabe suck at drift and wheelie. 4wd cannot do both of that. Also my best car for drift is the Honda NSX. If the drift track is short and twisty, the AE86. Both nearly reached 6000 points.
Right now I have problem with speed king. I can't unlock his path because i cannot break the record. I can win, but my points are not enough in the end to break the track record. Pagani suck at speed races because it's too light thus it will suddenly fly when you tap the steering at 350KM/h++

Now this is my personal rant for this game. It's too unlogical. While tuner cars can be tuned to high settings, exotic like the Zonda is sold with the best setting the company can give. This means that the engine, tyres, supercharger, etc CANNOT BE UPGRADED AS IT'S ALREADY THE BEST IT CAN HAVE. Sure, you can add in a new gearbox for easy ratio changing for racing purposes, but new engine? No. And have you ever heard a car easily reaching 340++ KM/h and still driveable? Even an F1 car have a hard time controlling at that kind of speed. The bugatti veyron was custom built to be at that speed, and even then, it sucks at cornering.

Drag is nut for me, anyone do 7.4X (1/4), 11.01 (1/2) and 249M (Wheelie) ?
*
6.99, 10.75, and 408M for me. To make a real good wheelie, shift into first and NOS quickly and quickshift up to gear 5. when you can NOS for the 2nd time, then you go up to gear 6

I'd try out using Viper last night and found it very slow ... not good handling compare to lambo. Well, if you drive lambo you can even makan kacang while you racing (means too easy to win...). Nissan GTR R35 is nice as well, but it stuck at speed 350 around, so it easilly beaten by certain exotic cars.

I like the autosculpt also, because now we can change colour of anything include the decals as well (previously only in black and white). But the only prob is that there are too much less body parts especially body kits, spilers and hoods. Too bad...

But one thing for sure, when wil lthe LAN patch release? I can't wait to LAN party with my friends !!! T_T
*

The Lambo is 4WD, which means it's more stable out of corner at the expense of steering, but as speed is not much of steering, it's a good choice.

And though, did you see any racing games from EA is themed of simulations?
*
doh.gif doh.gif
F1 99-2002 and also F1 Challenge. Those were based on the gMotor engine by ISI. And it one of teh best simulation game engine around with the LFS game engine, and it's miles better than the Gran Turismo, in term of modding (the F1 Challenge have multiple addons like the ETCC, LeMans, and the Japan GT Mod) car handling, and also damage.
The evolution of the gMotor engine is the gMotor2 which was used in GTR2, and also RACE07, not to mention ISI's own rFactor

wahleh? You only need to win 3 Showdown Race day to race him. He's the easiest to unlock, along with the grip king.

I just use the Hachi-Roku. THe short drivetrain is good for the twisty dockyard drift

5 sec needs quick reaction. The best I can do is only 6.16s and 408m on wheelie.

Slipstreaming sucks. You just cannot get the real slipstreaming effect as with sim racing games like LFS or rFactor.

I used teh AE86 for all drift. Heck, I even beaten teh DoriKin with that car as it's short and stable. With the correct upgrade and setup (high torque for more wheelspin, etc), that would be unbeatable during drift session
QUOTE(Jeffery @ Nov 30 2007, 12:28 PM)
wow....u guys really pro.... drag in 6 to 7 sec... tat's seriously crazy.... mine only 8 sec.... btw, wat's the use of heating ur grip b4 u drag? juz to make the spectator happy?
*
ever watched pro racing where they will weave cars from side to side? the concept is the same. The tyres will operate with maximum grip at a certain heat, and thus to acheive that heat, you'd do the burnout

Like we said, just use the HachiRoku. It's short thus easier to control during the quick right hand corner

because it's more of a sim racing and as all sim racing, there is no motion blur as it's not realistic
