maintenance according the Honda maintenance list ..do you think expensive or not ....

found that >130km/h a bit difficult in controlling the car...
think is due to high profile of the tyre... due to the road not smooth... haha
and the tyre/road noise is really... tak boleh tahan..
but within 120km/h still acceptable...

think vios torque is higher compare to city? size think city bigger a bit?
brv compare with sienta, serene, alza, avanza.

as i need car seat for baby... now 1... later 2...
so the 3 row is a very good space for me...
instead of full mpv... brv most suit to me...

do note the cost is estimate only, some SC will top up a lot extra thing, such as fully sync oil, alignment and balancing and etc.

try to test drive, touch on the car, see the quality to make the decision...I feel the vios quality dropped..especially the door & handle ..Honda way better....
Just decide bwtween brv and city..unless you got huge discount frm vios.. no offense...

200-300 is 1st and 2nd time...3rd service onward..starting 400-500 not mention major service...

but yes ...brv build quality really no good...plastic material very soft ..not solid ..rear bumper metal also very soft ..sound prove lagi worst.

why don't you consider Toyota Sienta?
buy car is need luck also ..
if you luck good ...the car can Serve you 10years without any major issue ...
if you bad luck ..after few months the car break down with major ..

Yeah... the build quality is pretty average just like those other cars locally assembled at this price range. So far, my ride's quality is pretty acceptable with only the dashboard rattling issue(which I'm not so bothered) and the air vent issue that plagued most first batch units(which Honda Malaysia quick to rectified).

Well... that's their opinion... every car has their fault even a luxury or a supercar... but the bottom line is, which car interest you, fits your usage and budget and lastly, are you willing to live with that car's fault.

Btw... what sort of other cars had others convinced you to go for? Just curious. I'm less biased when it comes to cars.

Well, if you want a car can do everything ( fetch more than 5 person, carry big stuff etc..) brv should logical choice.
Buy car is personal requirement, if the car fit your requirement then thats the car for you. Not base on other ppl opinion.

I am in the same boat but need to make decision ASAP cos my current car insurance due first week of Sept.  Am looking at paying about RM800-900 per month.

I really like the BRV look but I don't need the 7 seater.  Even if I keep the last row seat folded permanently it doesn't fold flat which is a problem since I a bit OCD 

Was initially going for Livina X-gear which has a big promo currently because clearing stock.  Apparently, Nissan going to discontinue the X-gear which worries me.  What if spare parts not available since is a discontinued model?  SA told me X-gear uses same engine as Grand Livina so spare parts not a problem.  But I still worried. 

So yesterday night my brain exercise very hard and decided to just go get a Vios this week.  Hopefully can get by first week of Sept. Wish me luck!

Really depends on your needs.i had the same dillema as yours.i could have gone sedan or even the Nissan Serena hybrid.but end up brv due to the fact i needed the 7 seater space maybe few times a year only.so to me brv was a good balance between space usage,price and quality.i can tell you my former Toyota vios had the engine block changed completely before.again really depends on your needs.

Don't know leh… SA told me it come with 5 year warranty, so pay a bit more, 5 years peace in mind.
