Not void warranty..when plug in..Gear in D will lock the door..and P to unlock..

No press break will lock/unlock..

Saw previous seller have OBD when stop will auto fold side mirror..but forget which one..
*
Just FYI, functions of the OBD2 for my BRV:

1) Function can be controlled or switched either to Speed Lock or to Gear D Lock.

2) Gear "P" - All door lock will be unlocked

3) Cyclic Lock - Any door lock manually unlocked, will be auto lock once speed reach 15 KM/H.

4) Emergency Brake, Double signal On, all 4 doors auto unlock.

5) Gear "R" - Auto double signal to provide additional warning to rear vehicles.

Sent to Honda SC on Friday for checking.

According to the service advisor, the extension valves at my left side air-cond vents is the issue. This is the first time he encountered such an issue with the BRV.

When the air-cond flows, the valves are not able to open fully hence causing the whistling issue.

They have ordered the parts and can only be fixed after CNY.

Will update further once the part arrives and i send for the valve replacement.

Now got new problem.. My left passenger seat in the middle row cannot lift up and fold anymore. Tried to check the hook at the bottom but it doesn't seem to be able to open. Wondering if there is any manual way to lift and fold the seat.

Anyone encounter such problem?

maybe coil mat or carpet got stuck at the lock u bar?
the back side can fold 45 degree rite ? just the bottom cant fold up ? push the bottom down then turn the knock see can lift up not not ..
how come not available? customer request what colour the the Honda SA will order the colour accordingly ...
maybe find another SA?
*
Sorry, what do you mean by "push the bottom down then turn the knock" ?

The seat can recline and push forward / backward. Just that the bottom can't fold up anymore. There is no carpet or anything blocking. The lock at the bottom could be stuck somehow. Will send to SC next weekend to check.

He say some part got problem. And he mention several similar cases happen, but not too common

Finally got my BRV back today after leaving in SC since last Friday.

Issue with noise seems to be fixed. Two valves on the air cond piping left side were changed.

Seat folding is also working normal now. Service advisor said nothing wrong .. that was strange as i couldn't fold up at all last week.

Will continue to monitor.

hi BRVers, I am a guy who loves fabric seat, but since full spec BRV come with leather seat, I would like to ask regarding the quality and condition of the leather seat after years of abuse.

Please advice for this future owner.
*
Mine is 3 years old.

Some of the threads holding the leather are coming out a bit but no tear or any hole so far.

Maybe have to wait for 2 more year to find out biggrin.gif

Hi, looking to change tyres after 3 years.

Probably changing the rear two first since it is almos worn out.

Got price from tyre shop for Goodyear Triplemax at RM 270 per piece and Bridgestone Ecopia EP 150 for RM 290.

Anyone tried the Triplemax before ? Besides cheaper, can get 2020 version.
