Hi. would like to check, how much is the new tyre for 195/60 (original spec) for BRV?

Last time i go change the tyre. The shop advice me to change bigger tyre at rear. Now i go to change the front tyre. The boss tell me to change all 4 tyre since the size is different. I don't mind since all tyre need to change already.

But KNS , they forget that they are the one propose me the back tyre bigger size previously. I'm wondering whether all 4 tyre they will overcharge me or not.

I changed mine from stock Bridgestone Ecopia to Yokohama BlueEarth... it's about RM250 per pop... I found it's a better eco tyre...

Btw, you shudn't or dun need to use staggered or different sizes for front and back. I dun see any benefit(s)...

Usually if I were to change the size of the tyre(usually going wider in conjunction with the width and profile), I will do all four... less headache if I wanna do tyre rotation. What Michelins are you using? I usually go to Klang to change my tyres there.

The bill stated: 195/6016 Michelin XM2+ 89H

Not sure which Michelins is it but the tyre came with 6 month warranty.

I was also proposed a size change by a tyre shop and I found out that they do not have the original sizes for BRV, so the size change is not so much a better choice for BRV but convenience for the shop. I regretted the decision, but this was because the tyre shop highly recommended by my regular mechanic so I gave the shop the benefit of the doubt, but it was a lesson learnt.

I think so too. Well, lesson learn. At least all tyre last more than 3 years already before change.
