Something very random I noticed with the z610i. The ringing time is much shorter compared to my SE W800i. Any way to make it ring longer?

did u put it vibrate before ring?or ur ringtone purposely shorter?never notice that..will take more focus again.haha.

It's on vibrate and ringing.. and usually I would use the whole song rather than edit it (too much time) so having this problem is a little odd as my w800i is also on vibrate and ring, but it allows me more time to pick up.

At first I thought it could be the "divert calls when busy" feature, but when I turn it off, it still rings short.. :S

My SE z610i rings for 4.4 sec (yes, I timed) where as my w800i rings for 25.4 sec.

shud be the diffrence between Z series and W series..cos W series focus on audio preformance mar..juz my guess..no time to check with my z610i and w200..haha..coz gf took my z610i quite sumtime liaw.

But I thought it should be standard with all phones (as in, ringing length). I think that's currently my only complaint cos I seem to miss a lot of calls since the ringing is rather short.

But I do love my Z610i..

i don tink so..sumtimes depend on the physical memory in the hp.sum hp do sing the whole song completely but some dont..thats the prob..however il do the checking after i got the hp back from my gf.haha.y not u try on other songs see whether it happens oso the same.do use the same bitrate anf format.

my z610 ring almost ~30sec, since day 1.
i'm using maxis. hv u tried to put in other's SIM card?

wow..wat happen?il time mine later..cant be that short coz i ever here my gf with the ringtone as long as 30 secs mar..nearly half of the song finish but end up because unentertained, divert to voice msg.

hmmm.... odd... all of you seem to have about 30 sec...lol.

*shrug* Don't think it's the problem between AP and Original. I'm having a Digi sim card in that phone, but I don't think it's the simcard factor.

o.0 Lemme go experiment with the phone again... who knows.. =.=

p/s: My phone is currently running on a 64 memory card. Haven't gotten round to upgrading the memory.

my gf claim that the ringtone realy ring for the whole song wor..SHE song:zhong gua hua.tink at least 3min kua..oso using 64mb only.ntg2do with memory kua..ur setting kua..try master reset..might solve..

can we change the housing? how much??

old issue.yes u can.but at ur own risk.u can change either the outer cover or the whole casing.in other word, u can change a black set into a blue set instead.will cost around rm65 for an ap housing excluding service charges.and yes, u can DIY it ursf as well.the only prob is:its a flip hp, u don wana break the ribbons right?and not all ap housing will suit well.take risk and chances.normal probs for housing changed are, ribbon prob, keypad failure, housing tidiness, flip tightness..etc
