In my opinion, take the Scrambler. More hensem.
But, it does come with a hefty price tag. Even for the maintenance/service.
So, make sure you got a lot of marney.

bennelli is too new n too few to report problems, so far i have read that the fuel gauge is problematic, it shows got fuel, where as the tank is empty.
not just in msia ...

http://www.benelliforum.com/forum/general-...cino-500-a.html

benelli doesnt have a great following in usa so u wont get many reviews / owners comment from english speaking countries.

this is opposite for ducati

IMHO, on just looks alone and nothing else, the Ducati looks cheap compared to the Leoncino which has much more interesting details. Just my 2 cents worth there.

Before you even buy a Ducati please find out the cost of replacing the timing belt. Then you decide.

Many Ducati owners faster sell off their bikes just before the timing belt needs to be changed.

Kalau gaji besar atau mak bapak tolong support beli & maintain motor besar, go ahead.

Kalau takde duit like the rest of us. get real and stick to the Benelli Cappuccino.

The maintenance cost tak tahu. So far i know the call it Desmo.. cost a lot. around 2k ++ (Mcm bawak kereta H service).. normal maintenace will take damage around 400++..

benelli cappucino pun looks good... tapi tak tahu the reliability yet.. hmm.gif

biggrin.gif Nice one there! Benelli Cappuccino! Maybe they could use that name if they made a smaller or bigger version of that bike. Hmmm wish list - will be nice if they made an 800 or 900 Leoncino. Maybe give the bigger engine a triple?

That 360 degrees firing sequence (both pistons goes up n down at the same time) create a superb exhaust sounds even on its standard muffler....

That's the part I don't understand about Benelli QJ. They already have a mature 3-cylinder engine in the 899cc and 1050 guises, why on earth aren't they capitalizing on it...?

Asyik-asyik parallel twin.

Imagine the 899cc triple in the new adventure tourer - it would have sold like hot cakes (if only they would beef up that spindly frame). In fact, kalau masuk the inline 4 frm the TNT600 pun dah cukup best dah tu. But noooo.... they prefer to take that overused 250cc parallel twin, korek block kaww-kaww & stuff it in.

In fact, 899 triple in the Cappuccino sure mencanak wheelie...

Could be that those engines don't comply with new Euro emission regulations? Probably expensive to re-engineer those engines too. Just wondering hmm.gif In many countries, vehicles that don't comply with emission regulations are slapped with higher taxes till they're no longer feasible purchases. Some countries disallow the sales altogether. I suppose if the parent company wants to invest, then they can have the right engines.

Yup, 899 in a Cappuccino will surely be sweet! biggrin.gif

Not really. The Benelli triples are the Italian company's own engines manufactured in Pesaro, Italy... so I think emission is a non-issue. Besides, Benelli's TNT899, TNT1030, TRK1030 triples are being sold in Europe without a problem.

These are very decent engines, and I can't imagine why Pesaro can't supply the engines to QJ.

It's almost as if, despite having been bought over by QJ, Benelli Italy still refuses to share their designs & components with its Chinese counterparts. Which is pretty arrogant considering the Pesaro office's sluggish sales and slow-as-fcuk development.

You could be right. Hopefully there'll be greater cooperation and sharing between the buyer and the buyee so that the sales improves. Pride is the factor that usually stands in the way of progress...
