QUOTE(Momo33 @ Dec 19 2020, 08:03 PM) whats the problem with Senheng extended warranty . care to explain i am gold if not platinum member of seng heng.. bought 4x tv from them. returned+warranty twice(extended 5 years)SH will buy the extended warranty from Marsh Insurance . hence the risk is shoulder by Marsh . plus they mark up the premium for the service . from my experience, tv broke at 4th year. both of it. (sony) of coz before buying anything i will compare to the other shop first. turn out at that time seng heng is the better choice ( i will buy the one with ez credit rebate usually can get 10% return) because of at that time, the tv price already very low compared to purchased price or already out of production they offered me rebate instead for example, i purchased sony android 7xx series for rm2.6k(4years ago). they offered me 1.6k rebate. So i just at another thousands for the latest model x90h..not a bad deal right, plus it come with another 5 years warranty.. i think the cycle will continue Momo33 liked this post

QUOTE(BlackBananaV6 @ Apr 2 2021, 12:57 PM) Rebate? The idea of an extended warranty is you will still have a TV with same kind or better. Nothing to do with price of current TV. model? in my case maybe it because of sonyMy non-smart 58" FullHD TV broke in the 3rd year when 58" FullHD is no longer in production. I received 60" 4K Smart TV as replacement because that is the least they can provide me. And its market price was more than my original TV price (didnt cost me anything of course, it was free). This was with smaller chain store in JB. SenHeng product price may not be the best, and may cost an increase in the extended warranty package because it is based on the product price. I was a SenHeng member, but there was no reason for me to continue, especially the price. |
