The story feel like all three house dont matter much one whoever u choose as all fight on the same side. Most likely gonna fight some ice zombie from the North or some barbarian from the south. Like Game of Thrones style.

Finally have time to watch the gameplay footage. Liking it a lot. Free roaming and being able to go around and interact with the characters is great. Gives more depth to the game, and gives more meaning than just seeing all character in just one screen and increasing their relationship in a menu. Best part of the game always revolve around the supporting system so that's a plus. Characters being able to learn a bunch of skills and being able to assign them what class we want them to be is great as well, unlike previous one's where you are limited to just a few.
Would like to see more, hopefully there is more to show on the 3rd day of Treehouse. |

This Fire Emblem is a bit different from the usual. Class mastery takes a while compared to previous series. Do you guys master each class tier first, like beginners, intermediate and only then master and above? Or do you just straight jump to the higher tier?
Previous series seems to give better stats to characters if you master and rank them slowly instead of rushing, this one doesn't feel the same? Or i'm just wrong there. Because I think I screwed up lol. I tried to make Byleyh jack of all trade, diversify his skills but now I don't have enough for master class lol In too deep to restart.. |

Man.. I just come across a reddit post saying that recruiting other students into our house is going to have a negative impact on the narrative. Like some part of the story is going to be lifeless with the students not being there.
Man.. It makes sense.. I just over recruited and might just have to reload an old save again. Save the recruiting for my next play if there is any. So far the game is taking a lot of my time. Might put it down after I finish GD route and play it again when all dlcs have been released. |

I wouldn't restart. You just get dark seal to change into dark mage, a male only class. Beating him doesn't really change the story or dialogue in future encounter. At least in Golden Deer route. Dont know about the other. |

How you guys managed to recruit many so quickly pre-timeskip? Asides from tea-party/gifting/lost items, is there any way to speed up recruitment?
Playing BE route, luckily I saved the game before it branches out, so I'm able to play both sides. I only managed to get Lysithea and Felix this round. One more question, if I were to kill anyone post-timeskip, or leave them alone [not killing them], will I get a chance to talk/recruit them? |

Because of this game I finally bitten the bullet and got myself a lite. Can't wait to spend countless hours again on a FE game.

I just completed Claude path few says ago.... i feel hes the most easygoing and non pushover among the 3. I like his cavalier and carefree atitude.
Main character Byleth is totally a borefest...lack any form of character/charm/charisma...thank god Claude voice charismatic voice acting give the storyline much needed boost. I would give this title rating of 85 out of 100....dissapointed the map animation on cut scene battle and when choosing to fight, doesnt zoom and be more detail of all the district and shown whos the house leader of those district... This game could have been a masterpiece should they try to be more detail on the map tug of war ala GOT style, gaining allies... |

BE route is my favourite route by far. Maybe because I really like the squad members in general. Very fond of their personality and really compliments the route well for me. All the way went with Crimson route. Only played one other route which is a branching of BE route, but didn't like it as much as Crimson.
Gonna take some time before I play this game again. Think I'll finish other routes when I have nothing else to play. Really satisfied with the Crimson route. I was a bit hesitant to call this game my game of the year but I think it is now after finishing that route lol. |

Dorothea > Lindhardt > Hubert
I use her in every battle I find Golden Deer to be the most OP out of all 3 house, interestingly Golden Deer's storyline seems to be the best Edelgard is in fact a seriously damaged person Dimitri is probably being the Hero long enough to become the villain Claude seems to be the guy whose trying to unite the kingdoms my 2 cents |

This game story is all about how you preceived each character and your bias. I've read so much opinions on what route people like the most and etc, and each one has different opinions, and different perception on their bias and non bias.
Very good character development in general, because there isn't really a clear winner which is the best route. The best route in the ends up being our preferred route. |

Already finished BE (both) and GD route.. Played maddening in game plus, i would say quite challenging... Next is BL route!!

I am still half way through and I just reach some major plot, the story is picking up and the characters really come to life in this title. Seriously loving the game so much!!! Totally worth it to buy Switch just to play the game.

The side story is good and quite enjoyable but the story is really predictable. Maybe I just too many anime and know all the cliche.
Around 5-6 hours on normal. |

The DLC quite worth it. Tough to grind at first but ended up managed to go with the flow and able to recruit the 4 Abyss students into my current BE playthrough.

Took the BE route. And I have to say... Edelgard is as much of a bitch as Rhea.
Im playing the NG+ taking the church route. Anyone can suggest what should I spend my renown on? |
