Very disappointed that nearly 4 years later, From still cannot figure out how to do 30fps with no frame pacing issues.

For PS4 Pro owners, framerate is unlocked but fluctuates wildly from 40s to 50s, very inconsistent. Why not just give us a 1080p60 mode like Nioh?

Such a shame.

Game is harder only because it's a new system. Well not really new depending where you came from, like if you played Onimusha and is familiar with the 'issen' technique, it's basically the same thing here except the deflect timing is much more leniant.

Royal guarding in DMC5 for the past 2+ weeks only made deflecting stupidly easy in this game for me. Only thing have to figure out are the unblockables which requires either Mikiri counter or jumping above head for an aerial attack.

I have only played Demon Soul, and it was brutal. How difficult is this in comparison?
*
Sekiro is way harder if you ask me. Demon's Soul was only hard back in the day because the framerate was atrocious, the AI was cheap for the sake of being "challenging" (but easily cheese-able) and because it's a game that was first of its kind during that generation. Demon's Soul wasn't hard at all once you understand the simple combat mechanics of the game.

Sekiro has a lot more depth and is more open ended. Unlike in Demon's Soul where enemies use pretty much the same moveset (other than the bosses) and that most of them are same-ish, Sekiro has a lot more varied enemies with different movesets that you have to learn, which you can then get into the rhythm of deflecting.

bought already... damn give up to the temptation  smile.gif,
anyway if fell like the mini boss is not that hard actually and is all your posture,  high lvl mini boss drain ur posture damn fast.... need to find mini boss guide order which should go first since low lvl mini boss wont drain ur posture faster than the high lvl one
*
Huh? It doesn't matter which mini boss you fight first. Regardless of the boss - it doesn't matter as long as you perfect deflect everything and yes you can deflect EVERYTHING in the game EXCEPT for "Perilous" attacks.

There's no "high" level mini boss or any "level" for that matter. Level stats don't exist in the game.

ur should realize high lvl mini boss would chunk up a lot of ur posture meter even with successful deflection. that why prayer bead exists in the game to increase ur vitality and posture meter......
*
@bolded
It doesn't lol. You simply didn't perfect deflect if you're suffering high posture damage. There's a difference between perfect deflect and normal deflect (which acts like a block), I think you're mistaken.

Already finished the game twice, I literally could just run through the game without upgrades and there's almost difference. Levels DON'T exist, why do you keep bringing up "high level" bosses? Enemies have no levels, neither do you.

anyone played pc in comparison to consoles? i find games like this suit controllers more than keyboard and mouse though. other  than the git good remark , any other opinions about it?
*
Console versions suck because FS can't get their shit together. 40-50fps inconsistency on PS4 Pro, 30fps with shitty framepacing on standard PS4. It makes so many fights harder than it should be.

Playing on PC, liquid smooth 120fps with a mod or the standard locked 60fps makes the game so, so, good. Deflecting attacks is just so addicting, it feels AMAZING. Really feel bad for the console versions and those stuck on consoles, the combat is just so much better at 60fps or higher.

As for keyboard and mouse... dude, you know you can just plug a controller into your PC right?

yea that is why i ask about the controls part. so controllers still better than keyboard and mouse then for this game?
*
I'm a big believer of use whatever peripherals that is most natural to you for the game you're playing.

Logically speaking, yes controllers are better. But who's to say K+M isn't good? It's a peripheral after all, so it's simply down to preference at the end of the day.

You can actually prevent Isshin from ever taking out his spear in phase 2 if you just stick next to him and be aggressive with your attacks, of course deflect and mikiri his unblockables too at the same time.

It's still possible to prevent him from taking out his spear in phase 3 as well, but quite a bit harder.

Key is to stay close to him.

Isshin is easy, don't make it sound so complex:

Game is so good, hope there's an expansion for it like The Old Hunters for Bloodborne.
