Clothing brand timepiece depends. Similar to Fossil these brand belongs to fashion branding. Fashion brand they do not do the movement themselves, some even let the other manufacturer to produce the watch and put down their logo. Unlike Casio, Seiko, Orient, Tag or Tissot who are timepiece manufacturer. Some of the Ellesse higher end model use Ronda movement which is good but i think mostly using japan movement but i doubt if they are using China movement.

The brand is legit and the jay chou is one of their brand ambassador.
