TCaseMax : 65'c

In this case, what is considered a safe overclocking core temp?

Can a CPU be overclocked until the temp is at TCaseMax or should it be like 3-5'c below the max?

Aaa? Aren't you supposed to NOT go over the TCaseMax???? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

My TCaseMax is 65'c and I'm already sweat.gif when the core temp reaches 58-59'c!!!

@gsan, thx for the info but I've read it before and roughly know what it is about.

What I'm asking is that how NEAR can we get to the TCaseMax in overclocking.

Like what gengstapo said, he's core temp goes above TCaseMax!!! Is that recommended? Or is there a low temp recommendation?

I guess in OC, everyone would say that the lower the temperature, the better it is for the CPU......

bro, as I told you before, the TCaseMax is not the measurement as what you meant by. if you really scare the proc will gone in one day later, then do not overclock.  smile.gif

Aiyaaa.... you don't understand my meaning. What I mean is "safe" overclocking.

Everybody knows that OC will shorten the lifespan of your PC components. What I'm trying to get at is OC in a safe way to maximum performance while also maximising pc components lifespan e.g. CPU.

That's why I brought up the issue on TCASEMAX as there are no other references as to how hot a CPU can be before it is considered unsafe! icon_rolleyes.gif
