i am actually quite interested to get the S41-H for my first laptop but the dvd problem pull my step back... aihzzz

any idea why my S41-H hdd onli shows 140gb of space when i right click the drive and select properties..

in bios it shows 160gb.. so how do i know where did the other 10gb++ went to ??

i know that it wont show the full capacity... but this is like 20gb shortage ???

i went use xp cd to boot .. it went into the section where u need to select which partition to bla bla bla ... it shows c: e: and 1 more in sum kind of symbol which taken up some space... any idea what is that ?

i google itu up... and i found out that it is the Recovery partition space which backup the OEM windows vista important data and files in it... normally laptops which have OEM os will have a recovery partition..

Arghhh ... the most irritating problem had occured..

Dvd drive cant read my office 2007 cd ...

everything is nice except for the irritating dvd rom

Aiyor bro .. laptop normally also can last 2 hours ++ onli ma.. unless u buy 9 cells battery lo..

and oh yeah .. u can select ur power plan also.. use power saver plan can last u for quite long i think..

btw the power plan issit available in vista only ?
coz i cant recall having it in xp when i running xp os...

that price cant even get 6 cells..

Btw u guys who bought S41 issit comes with a slim case ... the slim case is too small.. cant put my stuffs anymore after i put in my lappy ..

my carry bag is black and blue 1 .. john told me is a slim case.. compare to my friend's hp bags is really very small and look kinda cheap ...

That guy use that bag fit his 13.3" thats y not tat packed..

i fit my S41H inside is like no more space for me to put others things anymore .. except for a few pieces of paper...

and the cheapest part of the bag is the carry string .. so thin...

What OS u guys running in ur lappy ??
