QUOTE(kengsim @ Jan 22 2008, 10:41 AM) For the moment, the S41 is very good value, especially for those who wanna play games on a 14.1" platform. My 1st gen machine is still running well, but I wish I could upgrade the 120GB hard disk without voiding the warranty. My RAM is alrdy at 4GB. The T7100 processor is good enough for me. Just need more space... So u are running on Vista Ultimate since you have 4GB ?? or have 4GB but only utilize 3.5GB QUOTE(dude89 @ Jan 22 2008, 01:48 PM) Hey guys.. Planning to get a S41 for myself. What do u guys think about it? Wud i be able to change to windows xp instead of linux? No problem with XP .. running fine, well and good performance... No worries bout drivers also .. there is a link posted few pages back .. all the drivers available in that link for download

QUOTE(Clough77 @ Jan 30 2008, 12:01 PM) Just wondering if the existing HDD can be upgraded ie. 160Gb to 250-320Gb. That is does the S41 have a limit on drive size?If not what would be the best option: installing games on a usb2 or firewire external drive? What could the performance be like? Thanks I dun understand what u mean bout the bolded statement.. but i think hdd you can upgrade yourself .. but that is better to upgrade only after the 1 year warranty period or else it will be voided...
