Anyone know about the 8600 drivers for Vista? All i can find are the desktop drivers but not the M or Go drivers from nVidia's website
*
laptopvideo2go.com <== make sure u install the right driver. U can find the how-to (by eiraku) for driver installation here. As a matter of fact, u always can find helpful how-tos there.

Chill chill, getting mad wont get u anywhere. I understand ur feeling and now keep it cool. Do this first, download NHC and get it run. Go to [ info ] tab, click on the [ show computer hardware details ]. Read on the Battery list, tell us what is the wear level. If it's more than 40 or above, then most prob ur batt is not new enuf.

Well, it refused to read my CoH DVD until i re-inserted it three times. Anyway, laptop drives are known to be choosy of the media they read.

And this is also applies to other laptop brands as well. Not only BenQ.
*
Ok now that's weird. I dont think that ir is necessarily have that kind of problem. We buy a new laptop and one of its function is to at least read DVD and it didnt. You should at least report about this as this could cause more problems in the future. If needed, they might want to recall all defects lappies and get it repaired or something.

I don't know in what way do you rate the laptop. But laptop audio surely won't be better for most laptops anyway
But according what you say, everything else is average apart from the audio and you are complaining that overall, unsatisfactory? Gaming, so so, you well duh, with the 8600M GS in there, it's not the best out there is it?
Nah, I was being sarcastic. Because the way the poster said that how OS is "impossible" to be bundled due to Santa Rosa + 8600M GS. The sentence didn't made any sense to me. The way jeremy0 explained however, did make sense on the 4k pricing. But BenQ is no big fan of bundling OSes in their laptops anyways.

It smelled like a sarcasm but for positive-thinking sake, I kept it with joking. Knew it could be sarcastic haha but everything is clear by now anyway.

anyway, how big the difference between T7100 and T7300? Just 200 mhz more and 2mb L2 cache more per core, is that a big difference?
*
u mean 2mb L2 with 4mb L2. Huge different.

300078 has a point there..

That is one of the reason I want to switch back to consoles. PC is just too risky and expensive. If we talking about gaming and yes only gaming, console serves well for its own price tag. I know with PC we can do stuff bla bla might as well get low-end system for work and a console for gaming, rather than one super high-end PC that costs double or triple the first setup and yet to much risk and hustle involved.

The only thing keeps me on PC shore is the coming StarCraft 2 and prolly diablo 3.

yeah with PC u can use the controller or adapter that can use the exact ps2 controller or whatever, but yeah yeah if PC is convenient enough why there are over millions of console sold out there till today.

Added on July 11, 2007, 4:50 pmSo anyone wants to buy my casing then? haha i was thinking for ultimate gaming rig but screw that. Even the ultimate rig for the time being seems not to be ultimate enuf to run Juarez and stuff.

And cant wait for today's Sony Press Conf at E3.

Again just to remind it is not suppose to be like that especially with the newest batch of products. Thanks J Jay for giving them feedback. It is good to have forgiving customers, but that doesn't necessarily means that they shouldn't fix an obvious semi-defective part on their products.

There are lots of other laptop that doesn't have the problem. So overall quality will not be so good if that's the case. This could be the main factor or deciding factor of drawbacks and it could affect their market share as well which is if not important for us, but at least it is for them. I imagine this might have made a few negative reviews in any laptop mags..
