Wow seems like quite alot of u guyz kena BSOD.Lucky till now i only get it once when i add the ram to 2gb.After that it works perfect for me till now.Btw,anyone tried installing OS X in ur S41?I want to try but im not really pro with it,anyone mind to gimme some tutorial on this?

IMHO if the driver u used is correct it would't cause muc problem unles u stress the gc.Noob here btw if wrong dun flame me.

Hey guyz, my screen color not sharp enough.Anyone know how to tweak it and what is the best graphic driver currently for s41?
(if possible then share all the link to optimize the performance for s41 such as most suitable driver forceware etc)

1)I'm not very sure.
2)So far I've only encountered DVD problem for once(playing pirated dvd movie la).Cannot read from the disc and very(i mean very) loud spinning noise coming out from the drive so i stop it immediately.
3)So far GPU no problem(no OC, the driver is installed from the disc from the manufacturer for vista)

highly recommended notebook for its price to perfoemance ratio.
So far my friends dell compaq and asus all went back to manufacturer for hardware failure but my s41 till now no problem

Well if u fully use the proc surely 7300 will perform faster because the clock speed is faster.e.g: u cant feel the difference of performance of both the processor if u use your pc to play minesweeper.Both will perform almost the same speed.But if u are heavyduty user/hardcore user then u might see the difference.

Juz my 2cent.Correct me if i'm wrong.

Added on November 26, 2007, 10:03 pmStill until now i am not satisfied with the s41 LCD.Maybe its my angle problem(my screen is the same height as me head is) so i can hardly see the screen clearly in full.the edges and sometimes the side is not clear and when there is a dark scene the side and edges I cant see(which made me lost cs so many times ).
Anyone encountered the same problem?My girlfriend's s31 don't have such problem(maybe cause the screen is smaller)But it seems like her image is sharper then mine, anyone knows how to make the images sharper and nicer?

lastly,is constant 55~57 celcius safe for my notebook?Or should i get a cooler?(Its really constant no matter i put it at idle or gaming the heat is still the same)

Other media player can except youtube thn it probably wouldn't be defects on hardware ...so i think they won't replace 1 for you.try installing the newest flash plugin from adobe then try again.

Just wanna share my little experiance here, last time i keep complained about my laptop too hot almost constantly 58degrees so today i cut 2 rings from my toilet tissue(the brown color thing) each measuring 1.5cm and i put it under my s41. THe results are unbeleivable, now staying at 46~51 degrees.And the cost for => after u finished ur toilet tissue can already.

I am using vista ultimate too and i did tried AMCap, no problem occured.

Anyone facing PCMCIA card slot dummy will pop up it self if you put the laptop vertically with the slot facing down?
After i put it inside my bagand move around when i take it out the dummy is out i nid to push it back.
