Ok let me start my story why i sent it there...

My sister and I did something stupid.. She pass me the memory stick from the camera and she tries to put it in... so i was doing my stuff didnt care much so i just took it from her and sumbat terus go in.. then to my horror i forget to put on the adapter, therefore the whole MS go straight in... at first it still can be save.. trying to dig it out with something.. but unfortunately it turns out i pushed it in deeper and end up stucked in it

One thing surprise me is that .. i know this is something beyond manufacturer defect .. so i am willing to pay for them to open up the laptop to take it out.. i can't open it myself as it will void the warranty... the girl there told me her manager quoted a RM130 labor charge .. and she told me i have to bear the consequences that they cant ensure me the MS can 100% working after they took it out cause they might use some sharp tools to get it out for me... I was ok with that since i have already backup the data in it.. the problem is the labor charge.. does it really need RM130 that much ? what you guys think ?

i already tried digging it.. and i dare not dig anymore .. cause i really scared i will spoiled the pins in it ... Cause i was thinking the laptop need to be opened up already..

yeah i was shocked with the RM130 labor charge .... Perhaps i would give a call why they need to charge that much...

The problem is the warranty.. if i broke the seal it will void my 9 more months of warranty

The girl told me the laptop need to be sent to Penang as their factory was there...

She told me it would takes around 4 days since it has nothing to do with hardware defects... so i am expecting in a week...

Yeah.. but its not about the digging out problem.. its the 1GB Memory Stick which is stucked in it... If i just left it in there i will not be able to use the card reader and my digi cam will need to get another Memory stick... besides that Sony Sticks dun come cheap ...

Apparently, i have no choice ... If they insisted with RM130 labor charge i have to live with it since it's my fault at first.. I am going to give them a call and ask them to clarify why they have to charge that much for just taking out a MS...
