if you consider Nissin or Akebono brake pad

last year I changed my honda city brake pads twice due to the orginal brake pads were worn out. I bought from shopee then bring it to nearest tyre shop then pay them labour charge to replace the brake pads. The first set is Honda brand brake pads and claim that it is Made in Japan. However, the pads built quality is so bad, when I use it for few days, the brake is so noisy and feels something friction between two pieces of metals during I hold down the brake. Also the car can't stop tightly during I hold down the brake. I was doubted that the brake pad is fake one.

So, later that I don't want to buy from shopee. I change to buy another brand "Bendix" from Lazada. Finally, the one Bendix brake pads were solved my brake issue. Now was used the brake for some times already. Guess already more than half year already. No big issue, braking is smoother and no more weird metal frictions feel like the previous fake brake pads. Sometimes still got some little high-pitched sound during braking but not so noisy, mostly not noticeable during driving.

If you want to change brake pads, better just go get a cheap Bendix or Bosch brand brake pads them bring them to nearest tyre shop and ask them to help change the brake pads for your car. Usually labour charge is just few ringgits only. The brake pads also not expensive, just around RM100~150 only for Honda City and built quality for Bendix is good and tidy look. Don't buy the cheap "Honda" brand brake pads because mostly in Shopee and Lazada are the fake one.
