i think not many will know how to diy..

I just did my DIY on my Exora. Bought the brake pad (ceramic type) from Shopee for RM 78.
(Update: Seller raised the price to RM 100 after I bought, and no more discount vouchers)

ASUKI Front Ceramic Brake Pad Proton

I chose this route cause I was confident of getting it done myself.
Saved myself probably RM 20-30 per pair.
Labour cost is only 1 pack of Nasi lemak for breakfast laugh.gif .

The job is not that hard if one were to lookup at Youtube for instructions.
Only need muscle power to push back the brake piston caliper with a long screw driver.
