Wow.....isnt that something.......dont heck relic forum for awhile and this happens.........Can't blame relic.......COH needs the attention more. Think about it.....DOW has a much more loyal fanbase than COH.....well my comments refers to our region......Hopefully, I would like to see relic not abandon DOW completely but merely have it as one of their games that are to re-incarnated. However, I hope the general direction of this community will not be affected too much.....

Lord Inquisitor.....we could use your comment on this.......well I know the Primach wouldn't mind joining the ESL league. As long as there are heads to pawn.....his hammer will deliver the Emperor's blow......but would like to know his comments on going DOWPro for it.......

What do the rest of you guys think......it will be great to hear from the top ranked players in here.....

I think the reason why relic is refusing to release the engine tools as they want to retain control of the game.....unless DCPro' modding team is absorbed into the relic, i think they will have to buy the tools from relic and still not sure if they will sell it. It always about the money when it comes to the engine tools......cause the DCPro team could abuse the tools and use it for other means.......

Well....i don't like too, Relic abandoning DOW just like that......but i don't think they really are.....maybe like letting it sleep for awhile, while they attend to COH and then they'll get back to DOW.......still like Waba would say...."Faith is eternal".........

Its good to know that you're active in this and have now taken part in the LYNK league and the ESL league.....good luck

It would be great if you guys could do a couple of test runs and see how it is......but to your main question involving New Era, i think we need our Lord Inquisitor's reply on this.....

Well about New Era's decision, lets wait for our Lord Inquisitor...........DC community is only dying if you let it........remember brother......we are not just DOW fans.....we are also hardcore RTS fans......the only difference is that our main love is DOW......LYNK does not mean we falter in the face of adversity but rather charge into it with high morale and a determined mind to vanquish all foes carrying a chainsword in hand.....or in my case....a good sturdy choppa......

I don't think getting the files there to perform on-site installation is a problem as we have a tech-priest Fuj which does it all the time........Well, we appreciate the efforts of Korbah as it shows one with enthusiastic passion for DOW like us.......however, we need to secure our own front first.....and to do that is to assist our League in succeeding in its goal right now........I know the DP here need all the spread of taint he can get......and we all should do that......

Remember, we survived this long because we stayed true to the chapter that binds us......

Well, relic may not have active support for HW1 thats because as a smaller dev, they can't afford to do so. I dont think I'm the right person to even answer for them. They may have their reasons and what we can do is hope that they will release it for the betterment of the community........but should this falter your faith....NO............remember there is always something working in the background...........All Im saying is that, lets hold our thoughts till relic releases a official statement......till then we should do what we do best, that is wage war in the w40k universe..........since ESL is having DOWPro, maybe some of us would like to get into it to spread the LYNK banner but this is totally up to the chapter......

Till then rally more players......there are alot of ppl that hasnt played DOW yet and we can reach them before heresy does......

We must admit that COH will be getting more attention from relic......and lets be grateful that it was created by relic and it was done beautifully.....i still play COH from time to time.....although my heart still lies with DOW......nevertheless, fans are what keeps the identity of something good to still be alive.....and as far as i can see....as long as there are ppl who love playing DOW......it will be around for a long time to come......

Keep in mind that it was a game that completely challenged the RTS gamers to something thats more much aggressive and different from the traditional RTS......that challenge was made higher with the fans being completely faithful to the races that was depicted in DOW.....the constant warfare became real and players from the different races showed their loyalty to it by constant online battles.......

COH is great but the fight in DOW can never be replaced....
it is epic..........
