Just to share,
I just bought Mobil 1 Advance Fully Synthetic 5w20 for my Axia from Shopee seller named King Auto .
He parralel import it from USA.
Its also a bargain since its 5L and my engine only needs 3L. And its Mobil 1, kinda overkill for a Toyota engine but nevermind  laugh.gif
The seal is there and the bottle cap was very tight to open initially.

About your concern if 0w20 is suitable for Honda city, I have previously used 0w20 in my Exora. Turbocharged some more. No loss of oil. Engine still remains the same roughness as 5w30. FC probably about the same.
Then the next oil change I put back 5w30, same roughness (only when turbo boost). Now even with Liqui Moly MOS2.
So therefore thickness of oil does not mean it will protect better or make the sound softer. Your car and my car is not highly tuned engines. Thicker viscosity is to withstand higher temperature.

Mind sharing the link to the King Auto Shopee page where you bought the engine oil? I cannot seem to find it. Tq

Different year, different batch. Poster post one is 2018 batch so might not have all the authenticity checking methods. The fact that that seller selling 5 year old oil without proper QR verification codes is red flag

But I can con-lan-firm that seller sell fake Shell Helix Ultra from the comment pictures. If that seller can sell fakes, then his other stuff also big red flag

Make sense. It is hard to imagine how a seller can sell take stuff for 1 thing but also sell genuine stuff for other things, especially if the price is very low like this. Better safe than sorry for engine I suppose.

Willing buyer willing seller.
If the seller sell fake cibai online at a bargain and the buyer wants to buy the fake cibai, then its up to the buyer. At the end the seller gains. Buyer also happy, since genuine cibai is alot more expensive and seller will get lesser sales.

The problem is that buyers thought the products are genuine and they got a good deal. If the sellers advertise that their products are fake I am certain that vast majority of these buyers won't buy.

See the difference?

The online seller is not a friend of mine and hence I've no personal interest to help/protect him, I concur with his statement above as it is indeed valid as both their blending plants are NOT the same one at the same location.

I'm guessing the online is euro (legal) parallel imports, otherwise the seller would kena sued left, right and centre by none other than  local Petronas marketing division.

You would be surprised by how easy it is to get away with sell counterfeit goods, especially counterfeit / fake engine oil. I know someone who is doing this kinda business and he told me even the police cannot take action against them (only Malaysia custom and Ministry of Domestic Trade can). Also, it is very difficult to charge them in criminal court so most of the time it will be charged in civil court but since the cost of charging them by Petronas is very high and not effective to stop counterfeit engine oil, engine oil producers probably won't even bother.

To have the mentality of "something exist in the market, hence it must be real" is too naive and assumptive.
